This place is great for a cheat meal. Huge portion sizes and the seafood is cooked surprisingly well (squid texture is perfect, usually most places undercook them).

You're most likely going to have left overs for the next day unless you're Matt Stonie.

Over cook there chicken sorry guys have been coming to for a long time last night's chicken was so bad even the cat walked away i cant believe you would serve such garbage sorry will never come back had to give a star to post no stars whats so ever

Poor service. Ordered through uber eats. They forgot most of my order. Plus had to re order it and didn't get my correct change for my refund. Got my order but my food was so cold the roll and chicken was stale couldnt even eat it.

Will not be ordering from there again, especially with uber eats.

Chicken is always amazing. Stuffing delicious. Chips crispy and heaps of it. Gravy yum. Now they have eftpos so 5 stars.

Staff are pleasant and more than happy to make slight variations on the menu (obviously as long as the customer pays accordingly). The food is fresh and they honestly make the best hot chips in the Glenroy area.

3.5 stars This place has been around forever. We had a large chicken cut into 8, a large chips, a small coleslaw and small greek salad. The chicken was tasty and moist. Chips were spot on and there's plenty in a large serve. My greek salad was good but not great, more fetta and olives preferred, and my buddy ate a couple of mouthful of the coleslaw and chucked out the rest. Overall pretty good might need to lift the game on salads.

I've been out of the country for 20+ years, but I'm happy to see this place is still going strong. The food was great, just as I remember it all those years ago. One of the few places you can feed the family, and not have to mortgage the house to pay for it. Glad I stopped in on this visit back to Melbourne.

Absolutely value for money. Efficient and friendly customer service. Portions are bigger than the other fish & chips places.

We've been having chicken from herefor over 30 years and they never fail to disappoint. The chicken is always juicy and hot. You get a mountain of chips every time. The salads are fresh and delicious and most importantly, the staff are just wonderful and very, very friendly.

I won't recommend this place. I have bought their chicken wings today. The food was cold and tastes bitter.

Excellent chips with gravy, some of the best in town.
If you ever go to Glenroy, make you at least get something from here.

Likely the best value for money takeaway in Glenroy. We've tried catering once as well and it was terrific.
