The Burvale Hotel

Really nice place. Although it's a typical pub, attentive staff, overall inviting atmosphere, well maintained pool tables, cold beer at good price make it slightly better than just a pub.

Had a really great night out. We had dinner and the food and servicewas excellent. Saw the band Dragon. The crowd and atmosphere was fantastic. The band played really well got the crowd involved too.

The restaurant is clean and spacious. The play area is suitable for all ages. Lynda is very professional, attention to details, very helpfull and friendly. The food is good value, fresh and tasty. Our church members love to come back.

Very spacious bar and you can enjoy sports in big screen. Bistro is also spacious and loads of parking. Very friendly and helpful staff. Thank you for a lazy Sunday dinner.

Great suburban pub. If you want to experience life in the outer Eastern suburbs this is where you should go. Friendly staff and patrons. It's a good place to drop in for a quick drink anytime really.

Stayed two nights and being a light sleeper had no trouble with the busy nearby streets. Very happy with the accommodation and all staff very nice.

Why would you kick people out before 9 o'clock on a Saturday night when there's still plenty of patrons in the bar very strange I'll be going to another pub that stays open past 9pm in the future

Christmas work break up. Had the steak. Best pub steak and can be served up next to restaurant steak and you wouldn't pick the difference.

Very poor. Even given the fact that restrictions are in place, they are operating terribly. The waiter who took care of us was not rude but behaved very strangely and annoyed us for the whole time we were there. The menu was scarce, the service was slow. We were seated in the foyer, obviously to maximise space during covid restrictions. But please. Come on. The car park was unlit and the entrance was hard to find as most were closed. The pharma's were average, not bad but only average. No not recommend.

Stayed last night, unfortunately my room was right next to a smokers who kept coming out to smoke and talk very loudly until 1.00am in the morning despite being asked twice previously to keep it down. I evebtually put my head out at 1.00am and asked them again to keep it down. In between times the young man and his female companion indulged in some other activities inside the room very noisily, you could hear everything. Disappointing as the room was clean and comfortable, although toilet didnt flush properly, the toilet roll holder was coming off from the wall and the couch had seen better dats with tears in the back. Rang to report it, but not sure my report was taken seriously, no offer of a discount, refund or even a voucher for the restaurant for compensation, just a "we take these things very seriously and next time ring the front desk". Right who thinks abput trying to locate that number at 1.00am in the morning. Pity Burvale that you dont have smokers in a section of the hotel away from.non smokers so that they arent sitting directly outside their doors smoking and disturbing people.

My Parma and chips were very soggy. Missos pork was overcooked. Normally the good here is spectacular and I rave about it. Win some and you loose some I guess

Didn't use accommodation, just dropped in for quick drink and meal, seemed reasonable, clean, prices ok, staff polite, fairly typical pub menu.

The staff are extremely friendly, the the prices are incredibly low, and the food is great. However, it's generally dirty. The outside is unkempt, and the bathrooms are stained and might have mold. Additionally, the birds can be rather loud, so it's a very polarizing experience of very good and very bad. If they cleaned the motel rooms better, the remaining problems are forgivable and this would be one of the best places to stay within a reasonable price range.

Excellent service great friendly staff clean and accessible. Good location. Excellent food and service. Would recommend fiture stays.

Thank you for a pleasant stay.our room was great with the kids feeling at home. The Bistro was great and food was yummy. Slight noise at night but tolerable. Will book again whenever we'll be in Melbourne.

The hotel was great, Location is good, Food is good. The room is nothing special, but for what I needed it was perfect. Big enough, clean, everything you need for a short or medium term stay.

After a refreshing meal in the bistro we headed towards the evil place. The pokies. Lolll. It was worthwhile as we were lucky to win a major jackpot. The staff were great and approachable in particular Claud supervisor/manager who went out of his way to meet our requests.
