The Burvale Hotel

Wasn’t expecting a fancy room as it’s a cheap price to stay in the hotels, but the room was dirty, the ceiling vent was not on properly above the bed, and there was a cockroach in the bathroom. Was not happy with the hygiene and cleanliness of this room.
Should get new cleaners.

Edit: they offered me 2 free meals and a drink for the terrible room, and I've gone to redeem that, and they won't answer my emails I've sent them. Very disappointed.

Has been a long since since I last visited. Tasty food that is a good size and good price. Kid friendly with large parking lot. Would recommend.

Staff were so friendly and accommodating, food was just delicious. A very underrated venue. The decor is slightly dated but still a comfortable atmosphere.

Had a most enjoyable Sienna pasta dish. May be new to the menu as I haven't come across this meal before.

Stayed at the Burvale a few days ago. The cleanliness of the room was surprising. Despite the old look of the venue, the place was very clean and neat. The staffs were very friendly. I absolutely adore Meg and Nat, who I believe are the housekeepers there. They were really friendly and helpful. Looking forward to coming there again! Cheers

If you want the easiest pub lunch around then here is ok. Don't forget its about 100 years old but it ain't pretending not too be either. What you see is what you get and that's a good cheap feed.

Try ring the hotel tonight on 2 occasions & no one answered the phone
1) you must close before 5: 00 am
Or
2) staff are too busy with there boyfriend or girlfriend to answer the phone

Decent place I was here a short while so I'm looking forward to my next visit. I've bummed up my review because I know they care about their customers. Also they have an awesome trivia night.

Very clean restaurant and friendly staff. The optional QR ordering system is great but ordering at counter is available.

The seniors meals are outstanding at $9.95 each, garlic bread $2.50, sweets $2.50. The sticky pudding is marvellous.

Regular meals are varied and at modest prices.

Poker machines are nearby but DO NOT impose on the dining experience.

Strongly recommend.

I stayed here for several nights and the room was not serviced at all in that time. I asked the cleaner one morning who was walking past my room for some more milk and was told they had none to spare. The room still had rubbish left from a previous guest under the bathroom vanity.

Quiet location with parking and equal access to Melbourne city and Mt Dadenong and 15 minutes to Springvale shops with many nice Vietnamese eating place and restaurants.

The burvale has been here a long time its a great pub to bring the family whether its for an occasion or just family time its good place to catch up with friends it has accommodation the food here is super tasty and will leave your mouth salivating and wanting so come on down and see for yourself

Great relaxed pub.just needs to stay open a bit later on a Friday and Saturday night now the covid restrictions are relaxed. Great staff.great vibe.our local.

This is a true gem in terms of Value for money, its location and the number of suburbs it sorrounds with. The restaurant, bar and gaming area attached gives more options for activity starved plan made. Safe to say this is the Crown of Out East or Crown of Vermont!

Original room booked was N/A due to plumbing issue so we were put in two rooms which suited us just fine as there were 5 of us.
Clean, good beds, TV, fridge, tea/coffee facilities.
Location was fine - wasn't much traffic noise despite being close to major roads.
Good value!

Getting old and not much going on but it's still got a decent pub feed for a reasonable price.
Good couple of pool tables inside and respectable drink pricing.

Gee alot of water has passed since been to the "Beer Barn". But friendly barman and good ambience. Carpets stink though.

A good and comfortable stay. Not five stars but definitely clean and enjoyable. Staff were excellent
