Love this spot! Perfect for a nice break when you walk from Elwood beach. Terrace with a beautiful view, nice service, good food.

Nice place to sit at the moment and have a quick bite to eat. Choice of either the menu or fish and chips from the kiosk.

The coffee was very good!

Bike parking, restaurant toilets and public toilets available.

Coffee was fine but staff was so apathetic we actually felt uncomfortable being there. Staff’s attitude is the biggest reason we won’t be going back there as we felt SO uneasy we left as soon as we finished our drinks and didn’t even order any food. They also brought the wrong order the first time around as well, however service was quite quick given that the cafe was very busy. There were flies around (which they can’t help but might be inconvenient for people ordering food as people on other tables were complaining about this). Tables also had bird poop on them! Overall the only +ve thing was that it’s literally on the beach and the view is amazing.

The place is a disgrace, tables not clean, poor service, bad food - it is such a pity, the location us great but the place has gone to the dogs!

At approx 5pm on 23rd/12/2018 I attended and had bragged to my friends on how good the location was only to be let down by a waitress (don't know her name / though had blonde hair). She walked past my group on 3 occasions and served other people who came in after my group. Subsequently waved her in and mentioned that we had waited for her to serve us, to which she said, "oh you must have slipped in without me noticing". The place has a nice vibe, the prices ain't cheap, however, food is, service from this one waitress made me feel uncomfortable and I personally wanted to leave. Arvo carried on and Consequently would not recommend this place to anyone anymore. I hope the manager reads this

The facilities are clean and they have a cool steam room that’s glass looking out onto the beach. The gated swimming area is unique but not the typical pool I was expecting.

It is faith that we went into this lovely cafe because the wind was too strong and it is too cold to walk. Having a short break here with a cup of Earl Grey tea and some home made cakes. The environment is gorgeous where you can see the sunset and looking out at the waves hitting on the sandy beaches. No words to describe. We were there around 5.30p.m. End of Spring. While enjoying the nature's best, the tea and cakes were wonderful. Normally we will not expect much from cafe but we must say the taste of the cakes. Thumb Up. If you have the chance do drop by and we hope to be there once again in the future

Three stars for the location. Unfortunately, that’s the only reason I’d go back again as the service wasn’t flash. Dirty tables with plenty of people waiting, inefficient staff and high prices.
It’s a real shame because it could be SO good. My advice - enjoy the location but find another spot to dine.

The food was delicious and the service was amazing. The wait staff were very friendly and polite, and everyone's meals were all brought out at the same time. I had the beef cheek, which was so tender it fell apart and melts in your mouth. The calamari to start were some of the best I'd had. The white wine sangria was lovely and refreshing, with a hint of peach flavour. We will definitely be back.

Coffee is good.wedges is okay.but they forgot our Pappardelle Wagyu Bolognese which is our lunch so we left hungry and now need to go for another place on a Monday before year end

We had “X-mas” lunch here and the day was spectacular! Great waitress, quality food and the views, well simply stunning.

Not much variety for food but that's the only restaurant around. There's a cafe with take away food next door. Has views of the barricaded sea bath.

Staff were friendly and attentive and the food was fantastic. Work Christmas function was here in a private room and it was beautiful. Great views of the ocean and cityscape.

The take away coffees haven't got lids that fit correctly and coffee was spilling everywhere.
The muffins are smaller than regular muffins and are far more expensive than everywhere else. And to be quite honest about it the coffee isn't all that great as well. Sorry, but i'm quite unimpressed with my experience here.

Food was quite good however it was let down by average service and that it was a very noisy and echoey venue. It was difficult to have a conversation with our dining guests.

Following my review the General Manager contacted me to address my concerns which in itself is impressive. I will be trying the restaurant again and look forward to the improvements.

The place is cool, I went for lunch on a Sunday with a group of five, no reservation is required to seat downstairs or outside. It has an ocean view and the atmosphere is nice. Too many waitresses doing the same thing and stepping into one another. They would come and interrupt you asking the same questions over and over like if they didn't communicate with one another. The food was ordered all together and when they served it two plates were missing. We thought they would be coming afterwards but they never did so after everyone else was done their food we we asked for the other plates and they said they apologized and brought them even though the waitress had everything written down and Co firmed the number of plates when ordered.

We had to wait 55 minutes to could have our order (one burger, one salad and spaghetti) and the food could be better. Good place to enjoy in family with a nice view.

2 starts was because of the view. Other than the location this place is nothing but average breakfast menu is ok but not sure how they justify the price even have to pay for parking on Saturday. Would never go back there.

Great location and good service! Food was okay, not amazing and wish they did the lunch menu all day or at least from 11am but would still go back for the beach view!

Tip: Park on the other side of the road not at the front of the cafe which is too expensive.
