The Avenue Fish and Chips

Came in august 27th on a Sunday while out with my family shopping for grocery wanted to get some yummy fish for my family but the person serving me was so rude to me with bad attitude and couldn’t understand a thing I was saying…… I’ve never seen them working here before as I come regularly so they may be new but no excuse for bad behaviour…… not my usual good experience …

Ordered egg, bacon and cheedr roll. 'Discusting'. Egg like rubber same with the bacon. $8.50. You have to be joking. Couldn't eat it. Also had chicken schnitzel roll a while ago. Wasn't even heated up. Bread was dry. Another waste of money. Never never again.

Highly rude, rang to order, didn't want to know and hung up on us. Tried twice, same respond when asked to place an order. Will not bother again.

Rude and arrogant staff and food taste old and off. I swear the store is never clean either please train your staff properly or get better staff who are clean.

Alert customers someone trying to harm the reputation of The avenue fish and chips. Staff at the shop is very much experienced and food is well prepared with all the hygiene.highly recommend to everyone.

I have uncocked grilled fish! Not willing to replace or refund it.answers the phone with a YES.not hello this is the Avenue fish and chips! This place has turned bad. VERY DISAPPOINTED

Food on the pricier side for what it is, and subpar in flavour. Simple instructions such as “no onion” elude staff and service is nothing great. Snack items are left sitting on display for a while and the taste reflects this.
Find somewhere else.

Worst Fish and Chips shop Cranbourne with worst customer service. Staff is very rude. Very Upset with food, Fish taste like mum's gumboot.

We ordered 6 souvlakis, a schnitzel burger, family chips and 2 Flakes.
The flake was definitely the best part of the order. Flake was nice and thick with really nice batter and a quarter slice lemon wedge which honestly could have added another
The souvlakis were okay, not the most filling especially if you have hungry boys to feed but if you're not a big eater, they're okay.
The most disappointing part of the order were the chips. We ordered a family chips for $14 and I was so disappointed when I saw them because it looked like a single scoop of chips. Definitely not $14 worth and definitely not enough to feed a family of 7.
I'm summary, I guess if you're not feeding a family, the place is alright but I wouldn't recommend this place if you're wanting to feed a large group.

After coming back a few times, i would say i have been treated worse and worse, honestly dont even bother going here anymore the food is cold and oily and the workers are really disrespectful, really really disappointing NEVER COMING BACK!

Extremely rude customer service, really unhygienic and the cross contamination with different meats. Really needs a review from food safety. Overpriced and not fresh at all.

Order burger pack and fish and chips perfectly cooked. Best fish and chips in the area.customer service and food both was perfect.new management is working good.highly recommended.

Stopped by today and ordered the souvlaki, It was actually good for the price and the young worker was very friendly and sweet

Flake is not flake some cheap bottom feeder. Burgers unreasonably undercooked. Potato cakes absolutely distgusting. Staff are rude.

The fish and chips were amazing for 100 students and we enjoyed the sizes of the family boxes. Staff were friendly and professional. I’m so happy they were able to meet the dietary requirements of Rivercrest students. Food was delicious!

I wish I had read the reviews first. 0 stars. Under cooked potatoe cakes and fish is very sus so we didnt eat it. Please don't cook people food if you don't know what your doing. Please train your staff better and get some better product. All the best in the future.

OMG under cooked fish no dim sims or hotdogs in batter available. Chips passable but would not recommend anything but the chips.

Ordered fish and chips for lunch that night my nephew begun vomiting and my partner shortly after the fish was clearly off. Will not be returning Again! After reading reviews we clearly aren’t the only ones this has happened to.

I went to this establishment a few weeks ago to get some lunch with my work colleagues. I ordered a HSP snack pack mixed meat. What I received
was nothing short of disgusting. Chicken was chopped up thigh fillets as and the meat was just chunks of fatty steak that were really greasy and had no taste. Would not recommend this establishment to anyone. Just disgraceful!

Ordered 2x lamb soulavaki and 2x small chips. The meat was so undercooked! Both my mate and I threw our food in the bin halfway through. $37 that we will never get it back.
