Outstanding customer service! Jai went above and beyond with attention, detail and knowledge. So rare these days to be so impressed. He just sold $450 worth of shoes that we were going to buy elsewhere because he was so good!

Always shop here for sneakers as the staff are SO helpful. They can find the perfect fit for m e every time! No guesswork either as they use the 'walking computer' to capture every aspect of how you walk.

I visited TAF - Frankston today. The guy who served me was not only knowledgable and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. I have troublesome and painful feet and I left today much happier and in less pain that when I arrived. My only disappointment, is that I didn't get his name to commend him personally. Thank you. 5 star service and special shout out (management I hope you’re reading: D) to Jeremy! I came to get fitted for new shoes and brought my young toddler with me. Jeremy chatted to me and my daughter, making the service so much more pleasant. I ended up buying shoes that seem to fit perfectly! The whole thing took max 20mins if not less (not rushed just very knowledgeable so it didn’t require long time).
All other staff at the shop seemed happy and were welcoming too.

I have been a customer of The Athletes Foot in Frankston for more than twenty years now, and find myself shopping there more often as my feet are both flat and have recovered from operations in recent years. Staff are professional and their sizing /foot type machines are great. Recently took my non verbal daughter there for a fitting and we were satisfied with the staff and her new shoes too.

I am afraid this is a bad review. I am a little disappointed with the shoe I was recommended and purchased from the store in Frankston. That fancy foot technology isn't very impressive.

I purchased a pair of Hoka One-One back in March 2019 and was told these are the best running shoes out there and that they improve your running style. I have had nothing but trouble. Excruciating foot and calf pain.

What I have since been told is that these are a barefoot running shoe and other respectful shoe suppliers won't dare to have them on their shelves due to the injuries runners have incurred from these shoes. I had severe calf pain. At first I thought it was me, and after treatment, management and conditioning work, nothing seem to dampen the pain. My running coach asked what shoe I was wearing and explained it could be the shoe. I have barely ran 250 kms in them. So it isn't like they are worn out or needed replacing.

I have ended up in a pair of Brooks Adrenaline from Stringer Sport in Clayton. The owner is a runner. He promptly assessed my situation, explained in lay-terms what the problem was and recommended a shoe. My running is amazing now. He didn't use any of that fancy technology that Athlete's foot use, just good old common sense and knowledge about the sport.

My foot pronates which your fancy machine should have identified. Your staff should have identified this.

Very disappointing. Your customer service needs to be trained further. I will not be returning and I will not be recommending your store.

I am out of pocket now due to your lack of knowledge.

What a joke sat down and got told lady was getting shoes to look at then started serving someone else

I went to Athletes Foot Frankston and asked for a supportive cross training runner recomendation. I was sold a pair of runners and was assured they would be good for my feet. I found the runners to be very unsupportive and uncomfortable. A month later my husband went into the store to buy himself a pair of runners. He explained to the sales girl that he did not want the men's version of my runners after my experience with them - she said "Those runners are not for exercising - they are for drinking lattes in yoga gear". Now I have no choice but to pay another $200 to buy the supportive runners I asked for in the first place, but this time I will be taking my $200 to a competitor and never shopping at Athletes foot again.
