From day one these guys were amazing, from the initial emails, to the setting up a time to view the place to the phone calls and then to the day! Couldn’t have asked for a better group of people to help marry us off! Absolute best in the business! We can’t wait to be invited back as a guest this time!

Incredible! Me and my partner eloped after rescheduling our wedding 6 times. It was super easy and relaxed. Anthony did an incredible job with the vows and had everyone in tears, they live streamed the event to our family around the world and the photos after were perfect. Cant recommend enough. Also if you elope you can get those Jimmy Choos you want.

Wow! What can we say, two bug thumbs up and at least 5 stars for the team at Altar Electric. It was a long time in the making for us but every piece of communication and update was handled with ease and energy. When they say relax and leave it to us they really mean it! Our day wouldn't have been nearly as good without the brilliant Anthony and Dee and we cannot wait to renew our vows so we can do it all over again with them. Dee & Logan (Elvis) made our wedding one we'll remember forever! We had our ceremony in November (2nd go after our July ceremony got cancelled due to COVID restrictions). We wanted a photogenic venue that was unique and with a bit of rock & roll - Alter Electric delivered! Dee kept the mood lively and wrote a beautiful speech for our story before the solemnisation. Elvis was energetic, hilarious and spot on with his impressions - a big surprise we kept from everyone that paid off. Even the live stream team at Bottle Brush was fantastic, our friends overseas were competing to get the best screen grabs. Super happy with the Altar Electric team, they have nailed the concept down to a tee and will deliver an experience like no other!

Very very professional, accommodating and friendly people to deal with.
We sadly had to cancel our wedding that was booked at TAE due to boarder closures and the Team at the Altar Electric were so helpful with issuing refunds and they were very quick to respond to emails which is a huge relief during what turned out to be a really stressful time! If we ever decide to renew our vows in the future, we will be coming to VIC to finally have a ceremony at the Altar Electric.

If I could leave an 11 out of 10 review I would. We came across this peach coloured chapel of dreams on Instagram, and after meeting with the team at the venue we didn’t bother to look anywhere else. They took care of everything for us, booking process is fuss free, they even hooked us up with killer photos and a livestream. The venue and vibes are on point, if you’re looking for something off kilter but full of all the fun and feels look no further, the legends at TAE will sort you out!

The team at The Altar are fantastic to work with. They answered all our questions and helped with everything. Lockdown made things quite hard but they were there to support everything we wanted - including travelling all the way to Cockatoo when we couldn’t leave our 25km radius. They created a really fun and rocking vibe on our big day and it was everything we hoped for. Couldn’t recommend them highly enough

Would give a million stars if I could, from regular contact from Sarah during COVID and being flexible around dates so family could attend, to writing the perfect vows for me and my partner, to the funkiest rock n roll venue in town our experience with Altar Electric couldn't have been better. Thank you so much for the perfect wedding for us! Have already recommended the Altar to some friends!

We had the wedding of our dreams at the Alter Electric. The team were phenomenal, with Dee answering all of our questions on the lead up and on the day. We cancelled our bigger wedding due to Covid, and we are so glad we decided to go ahead with it here. We had so much fun, it was perfect.

Getting married at The Altar Electric was the best thing we ever did! It was exactly as we had wanted, FUN and stress free, our guests could not stop commenting on our wedding being the funniest wedding they have ever been too.

We couldn't be happier that we cancelled our bigger wedding celebration that was initially planned in the Yarra Valley and instead went for a smaller, more intimate vow renewal at The Altar Electric. Right from my first email exchange with Sarah, I knew that we had made the right decision and that we had found a place that offered services/packages that more truly reflected us and our values as a couple. They were also very flexible and accommodating when it came to guest numbers, dietary requirements, and just the general structure of our day. During the ceremony, Dee and Sarah were like our very own hype women and made sure that every one was cheering for us as we walked down the aisle - and this gave us lots of confidence and made us feel very supported. As we were also quite busy getting our photos taken, they made sure that they came to us with a tray of food multiple times and made sure that we were eating. We have nothing but words of gratitude, appreciation and love for the team at The Altar Electric and we will forever treasure the memories we have made in what was one of the most beautiful wedding venues in the city. We can't wait to see what's in store for them as they move to a new place!

My wife and I don't have enough positive things to say about our experience at Altar Electric. They went above and beyond to make sure our ceremony was perfect for us - Dee was so responsive leading up to the day, and Anthony did a brilliant job as celebrant, nailing the balance between the fun and serious for the ceremony. Particularly important to us, he made sure our loved ones overseas who livestreamed in felt apart of the moment. We bloody love these guys, and would recommend them to absolutely anyone looking for a killer wedding that's low on fuss, high on feels.

If I could move into the Little Chapel that Rocks, I would. It would be a constant party of amazing cocktails, gorgeous colours with a killer vibes and the best celebrants this side of Vegas. The Altar Electric is the perfect solution for those who love to do things a little unconventionally, love to do something that's unique and fun and different.

We had already done two ceremonies but needed a smaller third to officially sign and register our marriage. The Altar Electric saved us from a 15 min stint at the registry and instead made our night one to remember! Their venue was not available so they sorted a space at Le Bon Ton and it was perfect. Anthony as a celebrant was just what we wanted and whilst it was a professional affair he made it feel like a fun, relaxing and romantic ceremony. We can't thank you enough and for anyone looking to get the most bang for your buck in getting married look no further!

I don't have words that could accurately describe just how highly I want to recommend the team at The Altar Electric. We were married by Dee and wow, I never would have thought that our ceremony could be as magical as it was. Dee wrote and performed a ceremony that was compelling, compassionate and downright hilarious.

My husband and I always wanted a low stress, quick and dirty wedding. Cue: The Altar Electric. What an amazing evening with such a lovely crew! The snap 5-day Melbourne lockdown was announced just hours before our ceremony and the staff was so accommodating in helping us celebrate correctly before having to spend the next five days inside. Our celebrant had called us leading up to the wedding to get the details about us before the date and she was so thorough that my friends and family who watched the ceremony asked me if she was one of our friends (thanks again for letting us stream it for everyone back home)! 12/10 would recommend for anyone looking for good vibes and memories for years to come!

Such a great experience and amazing atmosphere! The AE Team made us feel welcome and put our nerves at ease, which allowed us to enjoy and take in our special day.

Where do I even begin to describe the experience we had with TAE? We first met Sarah pre Covid at the blue space and we knew it was meant to be. Having family OS that we wanted to be part of our day we decided on a long engagement but TAE was always the space we wanted to get married. Covid hits and a change of space, team Altar were always there willing to help. Dee was always there to answer any queries I had during a very strange time.

We had the amazing Bottlebrush films support us with their live-streaming skills and Hailey from One spoon two spoon as the photographer of our dreams. Anthony created to most perfect ceremony for two introverts, full of laughs and love. Our day surpassed any of our expectations. Cannot recommend TAE highly enough
