Best wedding place.easy going and Elvis was so worth it.perfect wedding for my son and sil.

We are so grateful to TAE for giving us the BEST WEDDING EVER!? It was the colourful and punchy wedding of our dreams. Our guests gushed over what an amazing venue TAE is and many said it was the best wedding that they had ever been to (we certainly agree).

We wanted our special day to be informal, chilled and totally stress free and TAE certainly delivered. They organised the best DJ for us (shout out to TJ) and hooked us up with a fabulous photographer (thanks again Oli). Davey and Bea took such good care of our guest behind the bar. And last, but not least, our celebrant Dee was a ray of sunshine!

Now we are just crossing our fingers and toes that we have a friend that gets married at TAE so we can experience their awesomeness all over again!

I mean, where do we begin! TAE is simply the best. We had the “a little more action” package and spent 2 hours at the Altar with 70 of our nearest and dearest. Sarah was our celebrant for our love fest on 27-10-2023. The ceremony was fantastic, funny, emotional and perfectly us. Sarah captured our love story entirely. I was nervous about timing for walking down the aisle with my bridesmaids, but they had Anthony out front telling us when to walk and what to do for maximum impact. The drinks were flowing and the food was yummy. Our DJ was also so fab. Our friends and family have said that our wedding was the best they’ve ever been to, and we tend to agree! Thank you team TAE. Anthony was our celebrant back in 2018 and we had the best day! He was so personable and professional and really made our (very mini) wedding feel so special.

Five years later and we had some questions about our marriage certificate because our UK passport office needed some extra info from us. He answered my email within minutes and had everything we needed in an instant. Super helpful and definitely saved the day for us - thanks so much

“A wedding unlike any other” “the coolest venue” “most fun at any wedding I’ve been too”. Just a handful of things we heard from our guests throughout the night as we celebrated getting married (by Elvis himself) at this absolutely FANTASTIC venue.
The team here at TAE are the best in the biz and showed up time and time again making our special day/night stress free and so.much. FUN.

With solid communication and the ability to adapt to last minute complications making us late to our own party, Sarah and the whole team kept everyone in such high spirits and having fun that no one even realised it wasn’t part of the plan! Sarah even checked in with our folks to make sure they were all taken care of. A champion!

We can’t rate The Altar Electric more than 5 stars or we would!
Best venue, best team, best atmosphere, best music, best drinks, best food.
Highly Recommend.

10/10 experience! The staff absolutely killed it and the vibe was on at all times. We were so lucky to have such an amazing day.

I honestly don't know where to start! This place and the people who run it (I'm looking at you Dee, Sarah and Anthony) have created something that can only be described as 'The Ultimate Wedding Venue' If I had a dollar every time someone has said to me "your wedding venue looked like the most fun ever" I would have exactly $234.50 (the 50 cents is because I could only half understand someone's question due to their excitement). From the decor to the no stress approach and finally the intimate and personal touch that Dee, Sarah and Anthony bring to Altar Electric, it is unmatched and it is special. I am so happy I found this little piece of amazing in downtown Abbotsford!
Dee and The whole Altar Electric team made the whole experience so easy, relaxed and fun.
She truly captured our spirit as a couple and made sure our small family felt included in the magic.
She even ran down to collect our lunch for us, talk about full service!

I could not recommend this place enough, especially if you are after an low key, yet very rock n roll ceremony.

Dee and the Altar Electric team are incredible. Our ceremony was so fun and exactly what we dreamed it would be. The day went incredibly smoothly, we felt incredibly well taken care of and like there was very little for us to worry about. All we had to do was turn up and enjoy the best day of our lives!

The space is gorgeous, they provided delicious vegan canapes for us, and kept the bubbles flowing for the 2 hours we were there. The team were also incredibly accomodating with all the small details- they received our cake for us on the day, took care of cutting it up and serving it to our guests, and helped us to play a video on their projector during the ceremony.

We truly had a perfect day at The Altar Electric. If only we could get married again!

Thank you for taking the stress out of not just the planning but the day of.

Being a couple of introverts who feel out of place most of the time, we felt so incredibly welcome, loved and special which really made our day even more memorable and incredible.

The main comment from our friends and fam was that they have never seen us (or anyone) smiling as much as we were— which pretty much says it all.

Two words. The BEST. I'm so glad we found the Altar Electric for our Vegas style wedding.
We went for the 'A Little More Action' package which was perfect. We definitely needed those two hours to say hi to all our guests before kicking on to lawn bowls. It felt totally easy and chilled out, like all we had to do was arrive and tie the knot. How much more fun is that compared to months of planning!?
The Elvis upgrade (The Knave / Logan) was worth his weight in gold, bringing humour, tunes and all round good vibes. He sang us down the aisle, wrote us Elvis themed vows, created a video invite for our guests, DJd vinyl, posed for photos.is there anything this man can't do?
Our guests still can't stop talking about how great the ceremony was and the chapel.

Such a cool place and crew to get married around or to renew your vows. An amazing experience to witness the team in action.

We got married at The Altar in early Jan and it WAS THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE! The team were so friendly and organised and accomodating. We had our kids, our pug and unlimited fireball shots, nothing was too much trouble. So easy, so fun and so much better than we were hoping for. I want to get married again just so I can go back to The Altar Electric! Love love LOVE

We wanted a no fuss, chill, real day and the team at TAE nailed that brief! There is so much hype behind needing to have the perfect big day for everyone to see. Our version of that was us, having a fun party celebrating with our family.

Sean and I wanted to say thank you once again for our beautiful day. It was the perfect kick off to what was to be a magical time. Working with the whole Altar team was nothing short of perfect, seamless, and just bloody chill and fun! Every question was answered and nothing was ever any trouble. Sarah was everything we wanted in a celebrant and more. We love you guys and couldn’t recommend what you do enough.

This place is great. The decor is gorgeous and the staff are awesome. Great vibe, can't recommend highly enough!

If you want a fun, fuss free wedding then the alter electric is where you should book. We cannot sing the praises of the TAE enough. The team were kind enough to deal with my barrage of questions and more than happy to accommodate the extra requests. A better team to help you handle your wedding can not be found.
Sarah was our celebrant and honestly the vows that she wrote for us were funny, endearing and heartfelt.
Everything about our day was so easy and laid back and TAE made it the most memorable day we could have asked for

We knew when we got married that we wanted something small and intimate and every road kept leading us back to The Altar Electric, so we booked it in and it was the best decision ever!
If you’re not into the whole over the top traditional wedding style then this is the place for you!
Sarah was the most amazing person, she calmed my nerves and made the day feel like the easiest thing I’ve ever had to do.she was accomodating, easy going and we can’t thank her and The Altar Electric enough for our perfect day. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants something a bit different to the usual.
