The Albion Kyneton

We ate at the Albion (again) during Covid Stage 3. The food was beautiful and the staff friendly. Social distancing was done professionally and the night great.

Decided to pop into the Albion last friday evening and I can straight out say I was not disappointed with the great service. The new Barman Josh C pours the best waters in town, your choice of with ice or still.there is so much detail and care in each glass! Its a definite must try next time your in this lovely establishment!

Called the automatic service and Was promised a call back. Never got a call. Went it to be told it was full. Terrible customer service and awful organisation. Wouldn’t recommend

Fantastic meal in front of a roaring open fire. Excellent service. Couldn't fault this place. A real winner!

Disappointing. Very long wait for food, while watching tables who arrived and ordered after us being fed before us. Food was not worth the wait. Burger for $23 was unimpressive. Avoid.

Good food, place was to loud and to many tables have been sqashed inside outside was nice area but full of drunks

Waited an hour and a half only to receive the wrong order and then told that they had run out of what we ordered without consulting us prior to making food, attitude of staff was disgusting, waitress was speed walking around the place and even spilt wine all over one of us and failed to return and clean up the mess! Manager's attitude towards being asked how much longer the food was going to be was ridiculous.
We will never return to this venue

Couldn't fault this place from beginning to the dessert and the staff are really welcoming and friendly! If ever in Kyneton again I would definitely go back!

The Albion offers everything one would want in a pub dining service! Well presented menu, smiling swift service, roaring open fire and a ramp so my wheelchair can move around easily. I have now made this my pub of choice when I am in Kyneton! Well Done Albion!

We popped in for an impromptu family dinner without a booking tonight on our way home from Melbourne (busy Saturday night!)
The staff were extremely accomodating to find us a table for 4 even though they were evidently quite busy.
We were all very pleased with our meals, my husband said his steak was amazing and my Chicken Saltimbocca was mouth wateringly fabulous! Very well done guys, love your work, you’re doing an amazing job!
We’ll definitely be back again!

Stunning food! Great prices and friendly staff, tonight I had the salt and pepper calamari which was very fresh and well cooked - then the fantastic Slow Cooked Lamb shank, on special for $29! One of the best meals I’ve had in a while

Xlent friendly service. Xlent tucker. Very accommodating of random people having lots of laughing loud fun catchups. Thank you!

Sadly a very disappointing mother's day lunch with my daughter and grandsons.after waiting an hour after ordering and asking if we would like to order dessert before our lunch had arrived it was clear that our order had been forgotten.another half hour past before our meals arrived and by that time two very hungry children a complimentary glass of wine did not suffice. We are local residents and would like to recommend you to visitors but that is unlikely. Sadly yours kathryn tarbet. P.s. Your staff i must say wete overall very courteous and polite.

4 retirees out for a drive and dropped in for lunch. Warm atmosphere, friendly staff & great food at a reasonable price. We will be back.
