Our favourite Vietnamese restaurant and also our go to restaurant when we are in Melbourne Always busy but service is good. It’s a place where you go for food but you don’t linger.

The sugar cane prawn rice vermicelli was extremely tasty and the accompanied fish sauce was pack with flavours! The rice cake was also not bad. Massive menus to choose from and great value as well. Definitely coming back again

Meh. Didn't have pho so can't say if that was good. Probably was.

The hot pots are shocking. I've had better ready meals. And I don't really eat those. The summer rolls were nice. The menu is very big. Its hard to make that many dishes well. Need to reduce the menu and focus on strengths.

Over priced for what it was. Wouldn't go back.

Excellent food, excellent service.
Menu in both English and Vietnamese.
Very competent staff - and the food is so flavoursome.
Busy but not so much so that it slows down service.
Highly recommend.

Always packed in the evenings and they do not take bookings. No personal space here with everyone squished together to maximise seating numbers.

We have been here a few times before. The Pork and Prawn pancake is still very good and is still oversized and generously filled.

Also ordered Rice Vermicelli with Grilled Pork and Spring Rolls, Cambodian Rice Noodle Soup plus Spicy Beef Noodle Soup. They were quite good but we’ve had better elsewhere.

On a previous visit, we tried their Steamed Rice Paper Cake with Pork - that was really good too but was not a fan of the bright pink jelly like slice that comes with it.

Service is quick and efficient for most dishes but expect to wait a little for the pancake.

You like vietnamese food you must try Thanh Ha 2.
Fantastic traditional food and it cost arm or leg.
Service is fantastic

Fantastic authentic Vietnamese food with portion sizes to feed you for lunch the next day.
We all loved our meals and will be coming back soon. Super cheap for three people including corkage at 88 bucks.
Fried wontons and dropped noodle soup with crab were the stars of the show.
Portions are huge. Two starters and three mains was enough for 5 people but that’s what Tupperware was made for.

I used to like the place, but now the price gone up and the portion gone down, too stingy with broccoli yet the kilo is $3.00, the gave me left over broccoli? Yet the dish is worth $27.00the cost maximum is $2.00, will not go back ever.

I am thrilled Thanh Ha 2 has survived out countries hardest lock down's. This Vietnamese restaurant is the type of place Vietnamese people eat at regularly.

This restaurant is a busy, crowded & well worn venue. Don't go here if you are looking for I. G likes.

We shared a massive Pork & Chicken Crispy Vietnamese Pancake. The serving was generous, the lettuce, mint & dipping sauce flavours explodes in the mouth.

Recommend trying the local beer 333 to wash down one of the tastiest Vietnamese meals in Melbourne.

Young waiter lad today had some terrible attitude. Real pushy, and getting frustrated when we asked him to take our takeaway orders later on. We are literally trying to give more money.

Food was tasty.

One of the best vietnamese pancake / banh xeo in Melbourne! Large and generous portions at affordable priced. Very authentic Vietnamese food with many choices of noodles, pho and rice. Just quite small and cramped with tables being super close to each other.

If anybody wants good vietnamese food in Melbourne, just come here. They've got the full works (except Bun Moc I think), but from Banh Xeo to Bun Bo Hue they are as decent as they come outside of Vietnam. The city's vietnamese food has become overrated and simply not up to par with what I had at Thanh Ha 2.

Absolute fabulous. Maybe try to order not your favourite, but try a new dish from the vast selection.
The friendly team makes the visit special.

Ordered combination fried rice. Rice was very hard so it's just a total disaster. My jaw hurts. Price increased dramatically.

A nice authentic vietnamese restaurant tucked in Richmond. It has been at least 5 years since last time we were here, wondering if it's still good. Verdict's in, it is still ah mazing! The venue has a warm feeling to it, dishes are authentic and very tasty and more importantly very affordable. For us, the star of the night were their vietnamese pancake or banh xeo and their prawn mini pancake; very very tasty, the banh xeo was very crispy and full of flavor. Oh boy, their broken rice is also very good. Gotta try their raw beef coleslaw next time!

They don't bother reading the special instructions. I had no nuts and a specific noodle type. What is the point of having that section if they completely ignore it.

I quite like this place. My parents are also obsessed with it. Just wholesome, delicious Vietnamese food that I think anyone would enjoy.

The only reason I take a star off is because of the price - however it’s not a dealbreaker for me. It’s just that I know many other places can do the same food for much less, but I think it may be something to do with a different area and demographic.

Anyways, the food is really yum. Always fresh I find. The banh xeo is pricy but it’s enormous and very filling.

Nice ambience and always busy which I think is a good thing.
