TGI FRIDAYS reviews
33Sunny easily the best srvice ive experienced in a long time. In a world where you cant even get a thank you from alot of restaurants, Sunny's service made me happy to patronize TGiF in Chaddy. Give this man a raise, absolute legend
As a family with 3 young children (inc a 8mo), dinner time can be quite hectic so we appreciate great service, especially when it’s filled with compassion. Thank you to our server Sunny for giving us one tonight. Highly recommended.
UPDATED FOLLOWING SECOND VISIT - This time around at TGI's, we received great service from start to finish. The food was very good also, particularly the starters that we shared - Mozzarella Sticks and Chicken Tenders. It was the perfect way to relax after a day shopping at Chadstone.
Celebrated my fiancé's birthday with a delicious lunch here on Sunday. We were greeted with a smile and very welcoming. We ordered the BBQ ribs and it was devine. I absolutely recommend it too. However it would've been nice to given wet wipes for this order as it can get very messy with our fingers because it's just so finger licking delicious. Their music is too loud just like the at Melbourne Central TGI FRIDAYS too.
Kids enjoyed their meal and so did we. The good wasn't bad at all, but the service was even better. On a Sunday afternoon during the lunch rush, service was attentive, the wait for our food wasn't long at all. Overall a great experience.
I was at the restaurant 12th November around 04.10pm and left 5pm. We waited a long time to order because, after being seated, no waiter or waitress came to check on us. Eventually, we had to stand up, wave our hands, and perform some actions to get a waiter to take our order.
Two waitresses and one waiter were chatting at the desk. When I raised my hand twice to call a waiter for water, even though one of the waitresses saw me, she didn't seem to care or ask someone to assist. Instead, she continued chatting and laughing with other coworkers. What a rude attitude. They don't care customers and no manners.
When I looked under the table, I found food crumbs and a fallen fork. The customer service was very poor, and the place was not tidy at all. We paid total $106 for our food at this place. Despite all this, the food was tasty.
Although the food I find bland generally at all tgi Fridays with little to no flavour in most the food and sauces runny and lacking flavour etc.the service always makes it worth while. It is handy to order and pay through the app or online for most people but for the illiterate ones it was good to see a staff member helping out patrons.store was clean and facilities were excellent.keep up the good work.:)
Beef burgers were good. Chicken in burrito bowl was extremely dry and tasteless and not worth the extra 6$. Solid place if you don't mind the price tag.
Cocktails were half decent but the ribs were undercooked, tough and very chewy. Service also wasn’t great had to ask for water, cutlery and napkins multiple times. Looked like the floor was probably understaffed though
Food was really good, cajun chicken and prawn you must try it so yumm. Pork ribs were bit dry other thanevery thing was very tasty
I really like TGI Fridays. But the last few times I have ordered take away they have forgotten the additional sauces I had ordered. This does make the meal a bit less enjoyable, but wouldn't be such an issue if didn't cost an additional $2 per sauce. The most recent time they also forgot the Pecan pie, which was part of a free promotion, but we were still looking forward to it, so it was disappointing. I do really like their food, and will be back. But, I strongly recommend checking everything despite the stapled closed bags before leaving the store if ordering take away to make sure you are getting everything that you are expecting.
Very poor customer service. The wait staff accessed us of lying about our order after they didn't prepare one mocktail. They also prepared an incorrect order and again accused us of the order. Won't be attending again. They don't deserve a star for what they served. I would say N/A.
I know it sounds harsh but it's an honest and fair review.
Nice ambience and good food. Might need reservations during peak hours. Their thick cut chips are awesome.
Very bad service! We waited for the food for so long which is understandable however when all our orders served there were no cutleries.so we waited for another 10 to 15 minutes just for the cutleries. I spoke to the Manager to follow up our cutleries (I'm assuming she's the Manager as she's wearing different uniform) she didn't even apologise, the waitress apologise instead. Very poor service!
Love this place. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. I organised hubby's birthday party there. My guests really liked the service.
Yummy burgers with crispy shoestring fries. I found that there was only 1 waiter doing everything though.others were just standing around.
Drinks were amazing,
Food was really average to be honest.
Paid for extra bread and asked the girl who was managing if we could get our extra bread and she said yes but it never arrived and it was as if we were forgotten.
Chicken was burnt and the salad was really soggy. Anyway not the best experience with food.
I'd strongly recommend not making it manditory to put your phone number and email address when making an order in-store and would also reccommend putting in an option to opt out of marketing.
Apart from that the food was great!
My favourite place to eat with wife and children staff are always friendly and food is always fresh!
Ordered from their new American smoke house menu. Wasn't that nice at all. I ordered the Pork belly "burnt ends" and the Smoke brisket with smoky sauce.
The Pork belly "burnt ends" was just pork belly with their bbq sause, tasted ok, nothing special but at least the pork belly was soft.
The Smoke brisket with smoky sauce on the other hand, was totally opposite to what a beef brisket is meant to be. It was dry and hard. It's like thay had made the brisket long ago, cut it up and left it waiting. Then when you order it they warm it up and over seared it before serving.
The brownie and ice cream wasn't bad, it was a free item. Download and sign into the TGI app and there are normally free items you can add to your meal which is great
