Ordered a item and didn't send. Bad communication. Always said will give tracking and they never sent the tent. Got refund in the end and went to Freddy's

Bought a tent here today - the guy showing me around was super helpful and friendly, even helped me set one up to get a better idea of what to purchase. He was knowledgeable and honest about the products. I'd love to see some 4 season tents available here in the future. Highly recommend this place!

Disappointed! Made a 60min drive to the store to buy Darche swag, there was no help from the 3 or 4 staff standing behind the counter doing SFA, Sawgs had no price tickets, store is a mess with stuff all over the place. Lucky for me Aussie Disposals next door had similar swag & products with helpful staff who gladly accepted my $$

I went to Tentworld at 6pm on a Thursday, as soon as I came in there were 2 little girls at the front desk talking and didnt greet me, I then walked aimlessly around the store searching for the Stretcher i was after. I then had to ask one of them for help and I believe her name was Indy pointed in a vague area NOT HELPFUL. I then walked in that area and another staff member Kindly approached me to get me the stretcher I wanted. I love the products they carry and besides the bad customer service in this incident I hope to be treated better next time. I hope someone will maybe explain to these girls a right way to help a customer and have a professional attitude at work and not just on their phones with a sour attitude, the front desk is the face of the store and all customers should be treated with respect. The workers may know where everything is but i simply do not.

Worst company to deal with 6 months waiting and still can't get orders correct

Really pushing sales/ orders only to make budgets, no correspondence, I had to call them # of times.
Not only the phone/ floor people but all the way up to store management, at least there consistent!
Couldn't organise them selves in a nock shop with a fist full of hundreds
Get this got offered refund BUT had to go into store after placing phone order and living 3 hrs away, eventually got refund, only if bank statement sent it showing name/ account details.
Good luck and Good riddance

Really poor assortment. Went to buy a double mattress and stretcher. We have found just the only good quality queen mattress in the store.

They sell tents, and other camping stuff, get in quick and avoid the rush, we are soon to be let out of the cage, get on it, i bought a yeti can holder, its awesome, thanks for listening

I happened upon TentWorld by accident whilst looking for a camping gear.

How I'm wishing I never did! ORDER #W264645: ORDER #W266590

#Items ordered that they advise are in stock aren't.
#Orders taking multiple weeks to show.
#When they do finally show, the partners they use drop parcels that have no authority to leave or simply don't knock on your door and leave you with a "missed you" letter.
#Staff that leave a lot to be desired by way of standard CS protocols in Australia.

Do yourself a favour, save yourself the hassle and buy your gear from somewhere else!

We needed to buy a family tent and some self inflating mattresses. Tentworld staff were informed and assisted us in making sensible choices. When it turned out that our tent had a defective pole, they were able to resolve the issue quickly and without difficulty.

Fabulous shop, brilliant equipment and range, and great staff; highly knowledgable, super-helpful.
My experience:
I purchased a Darche Panorama, plus some odds and ends from Tentworld in Ferntree Gully, Victoria; specifically, from Lachlan, who works there and is a specialist with the Darche equipment.
The tent is a great product, but the manufacturer doesn't go to any great trouble to explain how you fit it to your roof. If you have bulk-standard roof bars, okay, but most people fitting a serious RTT, I assume, will have a quality tray (Frontrunner, Rhino, etc.) That being the case, additional fittings are often required, from the roof rack manufacturer, and some understanding of how to set it all up. In my case a set of brackets were required from Frontrunner, for my Slimline 2 model. These brackets elevate the RTT above the raised edge of the roof tray rim. This is not an obvious requirement, based on the tent installation manual; one would reasonably assume that the fitting provided would attach the base-rails of the RTT to the rack quite easily.
Without Lachlan's advice, I would've found out about the fitting issue too late in the day to get parts; and be without a usable RTT for our Australia Day break.
Separately, I called the same shop for advice on a 12V battery setup to charge a camping fridge and lights; again, great advice, this time from a separate representative. If you've explored 12V solutions, you'll know this is a minefield of information and potential mistakes (spend too much, buy the wrong things). It can get quite technical too.
Tentworld made it very straightforward; again, this is down to their personal experience, combined with a really broad understanding of the options and considerations.
Stores like this are a joy to go to, my advice; research all you like online, but go instore for the advice and to buy—support retailers like this one!

Fantastic service in store and online.

I researched OzTent RV-RX series extensively and chose Tent World to purchase my tent as they were fair and reasonable on price.

Tent world has the RX5 and RV5 on display, where I attended the store to check it out in person. The staff in store were great answering all my questions. I decided on the RX5 and was aware that the tent was slightly cheaper online by another supplier yet Tent World matched this price straight away which was great service, Namely Jarrod C from their online team sales team. He arranged the price match for me and had the staff in store put the tent aside ready for me to collect it when I returned a week later.

After attending store to pick up the tent I also grabbed a few extra’s to go with it, these i were going to buy online elsewhere but Tent World service was great so I kept my business with them.

After first use of the Tent everything was good despite a small issue with the Fly. One eyelet pulled out of the fly on set up, and after sending this Info on to Tent World, they quickly arranged a warranty claim through OzTent (Jarrod C and Ashley J) once again great service and timely.

I returned to Tent world again to swap over the damaged fly and collect a new one which was easy and quickly arranged in store.

I will continue to shop here despite the fact they are 100kms from where I live, the drive is worthwhile for the great service and expert advice / product knowledge.

I think it’s also important to add that I work in the retail industry and customer service is something we take seriously, so when I experience good service myself I will point it out.

Helpful staff and great place to get camping gear. Have to compare with other place though as some things are pricier.
