Normally the Ferntree Gully store is pretty good but today not at all. In the hour I was in-store I couldn’t get any help and it wasn’t even busy. Shopping with three kids is hard enough so was hoping to be in and out relatively quickly. Ended up leaving with no tent purchased. Very disappointing.

Excellent knowledge in all things camping. We purchased a tent and decided we wanted to upgrade to something a little better suited to bigger trips. Even though our return policy was expired manager was very helpful and let me return tent and purchase a brand new one. Would recommend Tent world to everyone looking at getting outdoors.

I quite like Tentworld. They have good customer service and a great range of products for the outdoors. Their delivery is always reliable and their website is always up to date. The products they sell are all good quality too. You get all this at great pricing. I highly recommend Tentworld.

Worst refund policy compared to competitors, 48hours for in store purchases. Not ideal when there’s only one store in some states. Recommend click and collect (online) to get 14 days refund policy.

Second to this, I purchased a gas bottle stamped 4 years old at point of sale. Not sure how this can happen. I imagine it’s been returned multiple times like I did until some poor buyer doesn’t realise.

Wow this place is full of camping gear
Their prices are lower than the big boys and service is always with an experienced sales person that makes your purchase better.
Love their work and will attend a lot more often being a happy camper!

Purchased chair for son Christmas gift discovered he already had one was refused refund for unopened item with receipt offered store credit only - I have nothing else to buy here the item could easily be resold by the store

Travelled 30km only to find they had nil stock of what we wanted, guess we should have phoned first but we thought Tentworld would have stock of tent poles.

Won't take return or exchange on a brand new unused toilet that isn't fit for purpose.

They're super friendly, Rachel was kind and really helpful. Let us try out some mattress and allowed us to make a more educated purchase.

I bought a pair of Matrax recovery tracks online from the Ferntree Gully store at the best price, and with a very prompt delivery. Great service.

Shopped online for a large order. All items were shipped out promptly.there was an issue with one item as the freight forwarder had not delivered all items and tentworld got on the case immediately and kept me in the loop with any updates. Great prices and free shipping! Would definitely recommend.

Great selection of products, very cheap prices, however service a bit lacking, if you're looking for a product you may wait a while until you can find someone to help.

An easy 5 stars, more if I could. I called in today to see if by chance they had an item I was looking for which s hard to get. Rather than just rely on the computer Mat (t) went and found one, set it by, good price as well. I collected it today from a great team. Allstars!

Bought something from the online store. It arrived broken and support got back to me 3 days later said it had to go under the suppliers warranty and couldn't switch it out immediately and would take over 10 business days to assess? !

So took it to the actual store in Ferntree Gully (1hr away) who then didn't have the item in stock. The store staff were good, this is not a review of the staff in Ferntree Gully, but the company itself.

Shop at Wild Earth or Snowys, much better customer service!
