Ten Minutes by Tractor

My partner took me here for my birthday. I've had this place starred for a long time so I was very excited about finally eating here.

Firstly, the food was excellent. If you've ever been to brae, the food was very similar. In fact, one of the dishes we had at brae 'spring veggies' is exactly like a dish we had at ten minutes, and its one of my favourite meals ever. It's always so lovely to have a focus on local produce and I felt like the dishes pushed beyond your typical flavour pairings.

There are 3 levels of wine pairings at 3 different price points. Our sommelier was funny, informative and happy to allow us to try a wine before committing to a glass. We went with the middle tier but next time would love to try the rare wines pairing. It's my favourite when you can tell a sommelier loves their job and is excited to share the wines history with you. For us, a sommelier can really make or break an experience.

While we were there, special plates with a candle were brought out to multiple other tables which I thought was a really nice gesture. However, sadly I never received one despite it being my birthday. That was a little disappointing as it made us feel less important than the other diners.

It's a beautiful venue and I'd certainly go back again. Perhaps just not on a special occasion

6 courses - first 3 served over 3 long hours. Last 3 after complaint served in 1 hour. 3 courses delicious. 3 average. $556. In summary very expensive, very average food & service & very slow. Apart from that excellent.

A good vineyard, the wine tasting experience was ok, not a lot of enthusiasm or information from our hostess. Great name and marketing but not a must visit winery.

Delicious food, amazing staff, exquisite ambiance. Really enjoyed celebrating my birthday here today. The head chef and his team did an amazing job at challenging the senses, plating up the unique and ensuring each dish was specially crafted. As a chef myself, I truly appreciate the effort and creativity that was put in preparing this amazing Autumn menu. Thank you for an amazing time yet again! Also, a special thank you to our waitress who remembered my wife and I since our last visit back on 29 July last year!

Every mouthful was an adventure, a surprise and a delight. I've never tasted anything so delicious in my life. On top of this, the staff were lovely, the chairs comfy, the view tranquil and the environment calm and not overly noisy.

Such a classy, well-established, and friendly winery. Chill vibes with absolutely stunning selections to meet all tastes and preferences. Their Sauv Blanc us probably the best we've ever had and the staff were so friendly and helpful.

Had the Thursday lunch 5 course set menu. We were asked if we need to leave by a certain time and we said yes. That time came and went and we had to rush our last course. At more than 4 hours, it is a long time to dedicate to lunch without knowing in advance. Food was delicious and the wine matching was perfect.

We had the 5 course for lunch, which was perfect. We loved every dish especially the Scallop dish and choc mouse dessert. Look forward to going back again in the near future. Staff were all very friendly.

We thoroughly enjoyed a wine tasting here, the planned vintage was sold out, so a 7yo back vintage was available.
The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, engaging with our questions meaningfully. The space was lovely, even our kids found a good spot.

Didn't feel welcome. Nice new buildings and setting but just wasn't a relaxing experience. Ok wine. Nothing to write home about.

Really good tasting session and our host, Lindy, was super helpful and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend and look forward to returning again soon.

Wow, wow, wow! Amazing staff, food and setting. Absolutely the best dining experience. 10/10 in every aspect.

Couldn’t fault it. All the staff were knowledgeable, polite and friendly. Every course was delicious and well presented. The last of the savoury, the aged pigeon breast, probably the standout. The wine list is very extensive, and it was like a travel guide of the best wine regions of the world. It can seem daunting, but I thoroughly enjoyed looking through it. The Nebbiolo from the King Valley, a good choice with the pigeon breast.

Beautiful wine (Estate Chardonnay 2018 was the standout) and coupled with excellent service. Thank you!

I parked really awkwardly when I got there so it didn’t feel right to drive home. I really enjoyed it.

The last time I came here Ten Minutes By Tractor was a entirely different cellar door experience. Was great to visit again after all the renovations and see the amazing work the team has done to bring the winery to an entirely different level.

Walking into the cellar door you are greeted by the warmth of a Red Gum Fireplace and plenty of stone and wood architecture that welcomes you into the spacious cellar door.

Plenty of wines to suit any budget but our favorites was definately the single vineyard wines which really stood out against the pack.

Next time we will make time to book the gorgeous restaurant.

We did the 5 course set tasting menu, and I loved almost all the courses.
The flavours in each dish were very pronounced and I was blown away by the way they went together.
However, did not enjoy the pigeon at all (which was the only draw back).
Else great experience.

My husband and I enjoyed the most amazing lunch here. The food was delicious, the staff were so lovely and friendly, and the setting is just beautiful. Highly recommend, we can’t wait to return!

Up there w Vue de monde and Attica as some of the best restaurants. Superbly presented dishes and wonderfully prepared, exciting both to the eye and tastebuds as fine dining should be. Thank you Lucinda for helping organise our booking!
