47Staff are great. It’s such a shame that Telstra just can’t delivery service to the country! I use the chat app to lodge complaints but always end up going to a store to get real service and the issue logged in the right area.
As Australia’s biggest communication company. I’m utterly disappointed that the stores don’t pick up the phones. I’ve tried to call on serval occasions and it rings out. I’m not interested in getting a Telstra app. It’s 2023 and you can’t pick up a phone? Why?
Impressed with Julia’s knowledge and professionalism in sorting out my problems. She was kind & patient.
Rude and dismissive staff member
- don’t bother going there - they are just looking for a sale$$$ not to give service
- Went in looking for some help with my Telstra service phone - as soon as they realized I wasn’t “buying anything” just referred me to the website

Staff here are not only unprofessional but also not empowered to provide meaningful customer service even if they cared to. Avoid this store.
Unfortunately very disappointing, I've been a Telstra customer for a while and entered the store last week as I'm ready for an upgrade.
Owen told me that because they were only open for another '18 minutes' that he couldn't help me with the upgrade, I've now decided to go with Optus as their customer service was so much better.
Quite possibly one of the worst customer service experiences from a Telstra Store.
Very poor response and communication. Was promised an answer to an alleged system glitch by 11: 00am the following day after attemting to collect a phone which was already paid for in full. Didn't hear from them by this time and still nothing even after leaving a message and sending text to their direct mobile number.
Had to finally contact Telstra Customer Service.
Staff seem to have zero care factor or any sense of urgency, in fact one of them in particular was quite rude.
Avoid this store, judging by some of the other reviews we should have too.
Thankyou to Hisham who provided me with a cool head to me as a very stressed customer. His manager went above and beyond lending me some equipment that I’ve just returned. I recommend this Camberwell store as the best customer service I’ve received anywhere for a very long time. Thank so much. Jennie
Excellent service by the store manager, Owen last week when we requested to switch telecom providers. Made the whole process easy and was very attentive to make sure we understood what we were signing up for. Thanks Owen and team.
The Chinese manager store with his strong Chinese accent very rude Very poor customer service. Don’t waste your time here. Sorted out on Line without any trouble. In here the customer is a hindrance.

Helped by Ronald for new Australian Sim card on 4th January morning opening time. Very friendly and courteous. Other staff are friendly as well. Awesome service. Thank you Camberwell team!
Disgusting behavior to walk a customer who walked into your store towards closing time and you walked them back out and into a JB Hifi to deal with him. No wonder people go to JB over Telstra
I wrote a poor review because the store did not answer their phones and when I left a message with my number they did not return my call. My in-store experience was the exact opposite. They were brilliant. Could not be more pleased.
Service and above and beyond thinking out of the box has gone since the Store Manager Tapan has left. Once was a one stop shop where you didn’t need to waste hours calling Telstra is now hand balling and being told to call Telstra. They even tried to talk me out of adding Foxtel to my account and it was ‘too hard’ for me to get Foxtel. Rob the new manager is just smug and told me ‘this is the new world we now live’ when I told him that Tapan was outstanding and did everything instead of send me away.

Great job by the Telstra guys in setting up my iPhone. There were software update issues all fixed with a professional and friendly attitude, took a while but got there eventually.
A big thank you to the Telstra lady who helped fix my iphone today that was not charging due to lint being compacted in the port. She even have me the little cleaning pin. So very happy not to be changing phones and all the hassle that goes with transferring data and apps etc.
Telstra is a shocker of a company, with totally over-priced telecommunications offerings. The staff try, but when the products and pricing are so bad, they're limited in what they can offer. Can't imagine why anyone buys anything, or is it the monopoly power supported by government regulation and the NBN.

After two weeks of being stuffed around by Telstra's online customer service I gave in and visited a store. Marcus, the store proprietor, was able to solve my problem in about 20 minutes with minimal fuss. I'm a much happier man now.
