I've made several phone calls to try and arrange a landline service for my new business. I keep getting told that "someone" will call me back within 24 hours to arrange this. I even offered to make an appointment to come into the store to get this sorted "Oh there's no need for that! "
Now I get put straight through to the store's voicemail whenever I call.
No reply to my online query, no reply to the voicemail I've left.
It's been over a week and this is legitimately delaying the start of my business.

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WORKING FOR TELSTRA MONT ALBERT, also called Telstra technology business center and Rubicon 8.

This is the most inept group of people I have ever seen in a business. NOT ONE STAFF MEMBER has any Microsoft Certification, which is STRANGE, GIVEN THEY CLAIMED TO BE A MICROSOFT PARTNER. They LIE ABOUT THEIR ACCREDITATION'S, SKILLS & RESOURCES. They accuse ex-staff of ALL their problems. They support the 'managers' as they are all protecting each other! Telstra needs to go into this place, SPEAK TO STAFF & EX-STAFF, not just the 'owners' and find out the TRUTH! Sadly we cannot rate 0/5.

I am only posting this as I worked with Telstra Technology Business Center Melbourne East and can truthfully say this is the most dishonorable, unconscionable, immoral 'business' I have ever witnessed.

They charge their clients for goods and services they don't supply, yet if you try and bring this to the attention of management, you will be scolded. The 'managers' are all ex Telstra employees, though none of them seem to have any industry certifications or even experience. A real 'jobs for the boys' environment. They are doing things that would blow your mind, including harassment, bullying, victimisation, to name a few. They even admitted to using CCTV to surveil both Audio & Video within office areas (without informing staff of the audio recording).

They have a track record of using false & misleading accusations to try and force staff out after they report any grievances. They try to destroy your reputation by spreading rumors, though they cannot substantiate the claims. They blame ex-employees for all of their shortcomings. They act as though they are an 'MSP', yet they are the first to admit that they do not offer PROACTIVE MAINTENANCE, JUST REACTIVE! Why pay Thousands of $$$ per month for NO PROACTIVE MAINTENANCE! IF you have unfortunately been swindled into signing a 'contract' with these guys, simply ask them to PROVE:

1. Patching Status of Servers / Workstations
2. Backup Status of ALL Backup Jobs
3. LAST BACKUP TEST RESTORE DATE & TIME
4. Router & Firewall Patch Status [what is the current STATUS / WHEN WAS IT LAST UPDATED]
5. DO they notify you [OR do they need you to notify THEM when THEIR SERVICE DROPS]?
6. Service Level Agreements
7. CERTIFICATIONS of the Engineers assigned to your account [IF ANY]

DO NOT BE FOOLED BY Telstra Technology Center Melbourne East [Mont Albert] or Rubicon 8

I am happy with my new phone set up that I received from this business centre (Nitin). Thank you for being so accessible and easy to speak to. A wonderful experience was all I got from the TbTC team a very sophisticated and helpful experience.

Terrible service! Do not waste your time in here when your issue not be fixed and getting more troubles.

We were relocated the business and asked them to help us remain the phone number to new address. They misled info and offered us a new service, saying more benefits for our business.

After contract signed, we did not see any benefits at all, but our main phone number be changed which never mentioned to us before. Instead, they gave us a range different phone numbers (around 100 numbers) as we only have 2 employees. The consultant Nitin was disappear as could not contact him.

We've already canceled the contract and paid a considerable termination fee to get out of this. Please be careful or need a legal advisor with you when signing any agreement documents.

Horrible experience ever!

I am the business customer of Telstra. And call Business Centre recommended by the Telstra store as they cannot sort of the business issue. However the Telstra business center transferred my call to the Call Center straight away and the hopeless Call Center ask me to the the Telstra store. How the Telstra ‘TEAM’ work well.

Horrible! Do not waste your time with this company. Only helpful when trying to sell you products, once they lock you into contract they do not want to know you afterwards. Do not trust them.

I wanted to add an additional device to our existing business contract - and drove up to Box Hill to see what alternatives were available. There was an ear-splitting beep or series of beeps every 10 seconds - very unpleasant!

I waited for a while, but it was so uncomfortable I just left. I'll explore online options.

Worst customer service I’ve experienced from a Telstra provider.
No response to emails and phone call messages regarding a billing name requirement requested prior to purchasing our phones.
Basically after selling the phones they wiped their hands of me and my company

I was given the 1300 number by a Telstra Business Centre number by an employee overseas to correct a stuff up that Telstra had created with my business account. So I called the 1300 number and there was no ring tone at all and I thought that I had the wrong number and then called again and again no ring tone. I hung on this time and I did finally get an answer. I did point out the lack of ring tone and the receptionist was surprised. I was then asked to go to the Box Hill Shopping Centre instead, to sort out my issue.

I want to take the opportunity as the first reviewer here to shout some praise for Phil and the Service Delivery. We lean on them several times a week with issues and always get a quick resolution with friendly service. I don't like having to deal with Telstra corporate but we feel we get taken care of quite well at TBC Melbourne East.

I might be wrong but I could swear that Gomer Pyle and the Three Stooges work at this august establishment. Thanks so much, John and Con, for going the extra mile - nay, million miles - to help my father when your NBN services took out his practice and meant that patients could not ring him... And we are now coming up two weeks since the start of this saga. He did not need that money with a new doctor starting that week. Those patients who could not call through did not need to see him - that's what aspirin is there for. Throughout this ongoing saga you were both pillars of strength and good counsel.....

I recently visited the Business Centre on Whitehorse Rd to set up a new Practice. The support and professionalism shown by the team and in particular our new Technology Advisor Mitch has been outstanding. I was attended to quickly and a best fit solution for our office voice and hardware was offered and installed with 2 weeks. I cannot speak more highly of our experience. I was given options which were transparent and explained so I understood time frames and had expectations and concerns alleviated. The team had our business at the heart of their decision making and were upfront about what things cost, worth to them and what was best suited to us and why, in order for me to make the best decision for our business. They are now helping us now on our transition into Cloud services, we would be lost without the team at Box Hill Business Centre.

The best Telstra customer service experienced in Australia so far. Telstra disconnected my service since July after moving to Victoria, although I have been paying and charged me $681 for disconnection fee. I have been calling their call centre a million times but they were all hopeless and unwilling to help their customer to resolve their issue. I have been to other Telstra offices in Chirnside Park & Ringwood but they too said they cannot help me as my account was under business. I'm very frustrated with Telstra until I came to the Business Centre in Boxhill. Immediately when I met John, he said; "I will solve your problem. I will give you a new sim card, even before I disclose everything. " It took him more than an hour to discuss the issue with the call centre, most of it he was really put on hold, just waiting. He made sure that the termination fee was cancelled and that the sim was activated with the new plan. That was the best customer service I have received from Telstra ever since I've been with them. Thank you John for your professionalism & patience in handling & resolving this matter which other Telstra personnel here & abroad could not solve for more than 4 months. Thank you very much John for returning the confidence that I had lost in Telstra.

Was helpful when they need your business,
quoted one thing but when it entered to contract their business development manager put a higher price plus much longer term than the quotation, assuming the client will not find out before signing.

When asked for the reason, their email response are very rude and pushy, was telling the reason of putting different contract to quote is to make more commission.

After that we went to another business Centre and got much better deal. Never deal with this dealership again.

Went there last week trying to switch my mobile plan to Telstra considering the good receiption of Telstra. The male staff was very impatient when asked for suggestions and knowledge of the new mobile phone. He didn't bother spending time explaining the difference in details and was quite happy watching me walked away. What kind mindset of this kind sales/customer service working there?

After weeks of frustration on the phone to Telstra, I visited the Business Centre in Box Hill. I wanted to do two things - one set up a direct debit for our existing business account. The second was to upgrade my phone as per a text offer I had received from Telstra.

Upon arrival I was greeted by John. He spent the first part of the conversation telling me how useless Telstra's telephone support is for clients. When I explained that I wanted to set up a direct debit for our account he then changed his tune and told me that I would need to do this over the phone and that he is unable to do it in person.

So then we discussed upgrading my phone. I showed him the text message that tells me to take my existing phone (in working order) into any Telstra Business Centre, have it replaced with a Samsung Galaxy S9 and have my $149 upgrade fee credited back. John informed me that they didn't have any phones in stock, he didn't know why I had received the text and that he couldn't replace my phone because of the plan that I was on. Which is fine, I completely accepted that.

However, he then proceeded to tell me that perhaps if I went to another store they could upgrade it for me. Which means that either, the phone can be upgraded (as per the text) and John was just too lazy/busy to do the upgrade. OR if he was telling the truth (that the phone can't be upgraded) - he was just trying to placate me by wasting even more of my time going to another store - making it all another Telstra Staff Member's problem to deal with.

Retail Telstra Stores tell me to go to the Business Store. The Business Store then directs me back to the retail store. What's the point of having a business store if they can't (or rather won't) do anything?
