I have always purchased from Teds, usually Chadstone, and Online chat was helpful today but when calling the Southland store regarding product information the sales person was abrupt and annoyed with questions regarding a product.

An easy 5 star review.

So happy I called Ted's Cameras Southland last Friday. Spoke with Peter who was excellent over the phone, knowledgeable and explained the options for photo albums detailed a huge selection in store.

I was so impressed with the photo album I purchased three more today.

Peter showed me and assisted in producing the first in store digital photo album and assisted me with the other three when needed from the self service.

Peter taught me well and demonstrated exceptional customer service, support and care along with providing experience tips and approach to develop an outstanding end product.

From one phone call to multiple in store orders. I will be back and will recommend to everyone.

Peter should be commended! Exceptional service.

I won't be doing online photo albums and will be doing all my photo business ane production with Ted's Cameras Southland. Well done Peter!

I have had the worst experience with the manager named Sean who had my film developed. To start with, I put in my film many weeks ago and hadn’t received any emails updating me on the progress of the film development so I called the store and Sean basically attacked me as soon as he answered. He then proceeded to tell me my entire roll of film had been overexposed which was a complete surprise to me. This was no fault of my own. I expressed my dismay over the phone and he offered a refund but proceeded to yell at me and said he has no time for customers like myself who have had a bad experience. I am seriously still so shocked and shaking from that phone call. I will NEVER be returning and would never recommend this store to anyone again. The men who work in that store are genuinely the rudest individuals I’ve ever come across in my life.

I asked for advice on accessories for my camera, the salesman was a perfect example of someone who loves their work and has a wealth of knowledge. What I wanted was a little beyond my budget but when I have the funds, I WILL be back and hopefully be served by him again.

I came in today to have my passport photos taken.

I was served by Vanessa. It was such a pleasant visit and she did it all super quickly!

Vanessa made fun small talk and asked questions about our future travel plans. She was an absolute delight to speak with and supported us with all our queries!

Excellent service, the staff were so helpful especially as I am technologically very poor, I could not manage without them. They should really charge more as the cost is inadequate for the service given.

I had some photo.prints done which I have to say is the worst quality prints I have ever had done. The colour was so far out and the quality sharpness was that bad they didn't look real. Had them reprinted at Kmart which looked good - took them back up.to show them at Ted's being such a clear difference and they were less then interested. Don't waste your time with this lot when in comes to photo prints.

Dropped off 2 disposable cameras, i was told it will take between 2-3 weeks to get them back, it has now been 4 weeks and I’m still waiting!

We went to buy a camera, Ricardo one of the store person assisted us.he was very helpful calm and very friendly. We couldn’t select between two cameras he was very patient and helped in comparison.

The team are always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They are willing to spend the time to find the best possible solution for any issue or project. You can buy lots of things cheaper online, but don't get the peace of mind that comes with face to face contact in a dedicated specialist shop.
