Tazio

The food, service and dark fitout were all wonderful. The entrance on the side down a small lane, rather than through the front door on Flinders Lane, is very Melbourne.

We had a prawn pizza, which had wonderful flavour and a generous number of large, juicy prawns.

The seafood risotto had plump scallops, a generous amount of seafood and beautifully cooked al dente rice.

The food was delicious! And the service was even better:) :) I can't remember the name of my server, but she was absolutely lovely, friendly and super helpful.
Only downside, the cocktails are on the pricier side.
Have recommended to a few friends!

One of the finest restaurants I've ever been too. Great service and fantastic food with many gluten free options.

Fabulous food and Service. From the moment we got their till we left service was amazing and warm great recommendations and banter weren’t pushy and didn’t overcrowd us which was nice. Food. MOUTH WATERING. Could not highly recommend this place enough.

Ducked into this spot for a quick bite to eat, initially because of the cool tunes they had playing (Dolly!)

Turns out the rest of the place is just as awesome!

We chose the Gnocchi Gorgonzola which were like little pillows of happiness smothered in fatty cheese sauce, and the Pasta Agnello - Lamb ragu with pappardelle pasta & grana padano parmesan.

Both very pleasing, and just perfect portion sizing.

I washed mine down with 2 pints of Little Creatures Pale Ale and was quite the happy gent!

Staff were lovely and quite playful - just perfect!

I came to Tazio hoping to start my evening with a nice drink after work on a Friday. On the menu that is on the official website, it mentions Happy Hour on weekdays. I've been keen to try this place out. Upon arrival, I asked the maître d about it, I was informed that Happy Hour has been scrapped years ago and that I should perhaps go across the street to another bar if I am looking for a cheap drink, which was not at all my intention. It felt a little condescending and left a sour taste. Slightly disappointing I must say, for a place looks lovely. Perhaps review the information on your website and menu and update accordingly or clarify? Thanks.

Service by the Asian dude with the bad jokes Ryan, what a treasure made out night out worthwhile. If you book a table make sure you ask for Ryan.

Came down here for dinner with my husband, The atmosphere and setup inside is amazing.
Staff are extremely helpful and go the extra mile to make sure everything is to your liking.
The pizza's we had were really delicious however could do with a little less grease but other than that the taste was marvellous.
All in all its a beautiful restaurant with great customer service and great food

Looked up tazio and read some reviews. Food served with some gusto.as soon as you entre you feel the warmth and welcoming nature of this eatery. Can only guess, they are happy to see us and we are them after being cooped up for sometime. Great food and service guys, would definitely come again. Highly recommended

Tucked away on Flinders Lane - Tazio is a chic italian restaurant with delicious pizzas and pasta! Always busy you have the option of enjoying a private room dinner with mates! Prices are budget friendly and the food is delicious! Service immaculate! Definitely worth a stop if you are roaming the city at night.

The food, hosts, ambience and music was lovely. I was out with my friends and we had a great time together. We ordered marinara pasta, the lamb pasta and the salmon mains. It was all excellent. We really enjoyed our time there.

The team at Tazio's was amazing to deal with! We held a work function in a private area at the restaurant and it went ahead without any problems. The food was delicious and everyone really enjoyed everything. I will definitely be back on a business and personal level. 10/10 Service:)

I arrange a private function for 19 people at tazio and the service from initial contact to on the night was amazing! The team at tazio were super helpful and friendly. The food was so yum and plenty off it for a group booking on their function menu. Great value for money too. I've had nothing but great feedback from my guest and would certainly go again and recommend to friends and family.

Just had an event for 30 people @ Tazio. From A to Z, beginning to end, everything was fantastic. Food was delicious and plentiful, great selection of drinks and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The place, decoration, organisation of tables and settings could not be faulted. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a casual dine in or large group events. Fantastic pick!

Went to Tazio as a party of seven for a business lunch. Excellent and friendly service. Food and drinks were deliveried quickly and together. Good food at a fair price. It seems designed to cater for groups rather than couples and it does this well.

I recently hosted a private dinner function at Tazio - great venue and great food! Thanks to the team for looking after our group.

Back after the covid break, still making great pizza, great tap beer, relaxed environment and personable, friendly service. Loved this place. Even before it moved. I don't get the awkward lane entrance, but don't let that deter you!

Staff were so welcoming and approachable from the moment we walked in. They were very attentive and always checked up on us to make sure everything was okay.
Ordered the lamb ragu pasta and salmon dishes. Food came out very promptly.
Food was delicious and cooked perfectly. You certainly get value for what you pay for!
Cozy atmosphere in the restaurant - would make for a perfect place to dine on a cold winter's night.

Finally got to have our work Christmas dinner mid March. It all went so smoothly, the staff were so helpful and lovely. Food was so yummy! Would definitely love to go again:)

Average food for the price you pay. May as well go to Chin Chin. My pizza was burnt and not much topping. Left hungry. Should have gone to dominos.
