Tazio

We felt spoilt here. Table for 4 with lots of room is a fantastic little spit. Felt like we had it to ourselves even when full. Food was outstanding, service and atmosphere was great. Even walking in, the surrounding area is so cool to explore. Special experience for us.

Had the veal which was black and overcooked. The salad was not dressed and bland. Overpriced for RSL type food. Far better food options in the area. The drinks were ok. But definitely wouldn’t go back again.

The panna cotta alone is worth going here.

Went on the 13th of September and was so so pleasantly surprised by the food and service here. We actually planned to dine at the popular establishment beside this place but they were full so we came to Tazio instead and it was one of the best decisions this trip! Staff were attentive and friendly and the food was fantastic. You need to get the arancini because that blew my mind.

We held a hens night at the top mezzanine level! Maggie and the staff at tazios catered for vegan vegetarian gluten free and the mix in between it was super easy and relaxing as a person planning the event as they took the stress off! Food as per usual was amazing and was still coming out until we left! Friendly bar staff with the option of a tab or a set menu for drinks! Couldn’t have been a more perfect night we really appreciate the effort you all went too

This time I'm confident in the 2 star since this place is extremely overrated.
The pasta was made good, but both the pasta and croquette I ordered were tasteless. They mixed up one of our orders by bringing a first course dish for a main dish, the service was nice but *extremely* slow. All of this could have been somewhat excused if they would offer some kind of compensation, but none was offered unfortunately. So to top everything off - it was a very expensive and unpleasant experience. I personally do not recommend, especially when there are so many options in the area.

The team at Tazio were FANTASTIC! We had our wedding reception at Tazio over the course of the lunch period, for 64 people in the long room upstairs and the crew who were on were so hospitable, kind, patient and truly went the extra mile for us and our guests.
Maggie, who was our main point of contact, was so helpful with all of my queries and made the process of planning a reception so easy.
We decided to go with the banquet style feast, and my goodness, WAS IT A FEAST! Our guests were blown away at the quality of the food and the quantity! The crowd favourite certainly was the gnocchi Gorgonzola, like eating little mouthfuls of clouds. The team were also incredible in providing dietary alternatives for our guests who were Gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian and lactose intolerant.
The food was amazing as always and many of our guests have already said that they will be back to endulge in the rest of the menu!
The atmosphere and design of the venue alone was why we picked Tazio. With access to a goods lift to utilise, especially for our older guests who would find it difficult to walk the stairs, it put some of our stress at ease.
We definitely would recommend Tazio for those thinking of a smaller venue to host a reception or event. The team were absolutely fantastic!

The food was ok (the cottelete very good!), What makes it deserve 5 starts to me was the Italian waitress: she came to ask how the food was and noticed my salmon was overcooked, and she changed it straight away. The manager came later with a new salmon fillet that was perfect. I seldom see this level of service and customer orientation in restaurants anymore. They were also very nice and helpful to my mother in law, that has mobility problems. Congratulations and thank you! You made some faithful clients today. We hope to be back soon!

I went there with my team for end of year dinner. Its a two storey restaurant with a bar in both first and second floor. Firstly, they were happy to cater to specific request and even printed individual menu for members with food restrictions. I felt that was a nice touch and their service team was fantastic. Food arrived on time and the team were friendly and accommodative. This is were most of the good part ends

The second part is food and drinks. I had calamari for starters, it was cold and rubbery! The arancini balls didn't taste that great. Eggplant Parmigiana was like eggplant in tomato curry. Salmon and green-peas puree was my main. I felt the Salmon was overcooked. Their collection of Tap beers was not great. Overall they have a great place to host big teams and wonderful service team but the core of it i.e. Food & drinks needs a lot of improvement.

We were just walk in couple but they kindly made room for us. So glad we did pip in as the food was delicious and service friendly.

Gorgeous atmosphere and our waiter was delightful. Food was good but perhaps about 10% over market rates in price.

I love this place. I’ve eaten here a few times now. Service is excellent, food is great quality and is delicious. Highly recommended

HIGHLY RECOMMEND TAZIO! I booked dinner online for a special birthday catch up with friends. Had a lovely reply from Maggie. On the night, staff and service were fantastic, especially our waitress Cass. Food was amazing! Wonderful friends, fantastic food & service. What more can a girl want for her special birthday! Recently had my birthday at Tazio and I would highly recommend it. The service and the staff were incredible the attention to detail and preparation that went into the event was amazing. The food as always was delicious and left us all full. The upstairs room was perfect for my event and we have already planned to go back 10/10 would recommend!

Nice food, good service. Food was quick, staff was attentive. The pizza was the only let down, very soggy base, rest all the food was fine.

The environment and service was great. While im a bit disappointed with the pasta, everything feels like a bit lack of flavour for me.

Went for a work lunch and the food was delicious and plentiful with the service fantastic and playlist enjoyable too

We hosted an EOFY function in the basement at Tazio - we really enjoyed the moody atmosphere. Drinks, food and service were all amazing - was a perfect spot for our small group. Thanks Maggie and the staff who worked our function for all their help.

Exceptional service and the most amazing and tastiest food ever. I have been there a few times now and every time they never disappoint. Will definitely be back again.
