Great customer service, the crew there were very accommodating. Food was nice and we sat in the back room which was quiet and had a nice vibe to it.

Absolute money grabbers and deceitful with home delivery orders, regarding portion sizes, compared to in house. I called to question these discrepancies and they couldn't be less interested in discussing or retaining a customer. Also, food could not have been freshly made, as estimated delivery time was from 10-20 minutes. Never again.

I've been wanting to try Taxiboat for quite some time, & on a drizzly winter's day, I finally made my way in for an early dinner. Mongolian Lamb Ribs for entree was delicious, as was my mains of Mongolian Beef & Chef's Special Fried Rice, washed down with an Ashai Sapporo Super Dry beer. A Crème Caramel for desert topped off a magnificent meal.
Atmosphere is vey ambient & relaxed, & service was sharp & friendly. I snagged a window seat, & as a bonus, got to watch Northcote locals & visitors buzzing around outside. The room, though small, was quite busy with tables turning over, & take away orders & deliveries moving out the door at a brisk pace. There is also another room out the back that can be booked for functions. If you haven't been to Taxiboat yet, I recommend you put it on your list. It will become a regular on your favourites list.

This is my new favourite restaurant. The food is lovingly prepared and beautifully presented. The owner Kim is such a gentle and kind man.

Another restaurant that doesn't care about your delivery orders. They'll ask the driver to wait outside and don't bother to tell them when the food's ready, while your order congeals on their counter. Either let the drivers wait inside, or send someone to let them know when the order's ready. The lack of care for customers that aren't present is appalling.

Very disappointed with the food from here. Portion was Small and food was undercooked. For the amount they charge, some quality control I believe should be maintained to keep regular customers happy. I had to throw out my food and wasted $63 on my Last purchase. That will be my Very last purchase through Uber eats.

Delicious vegan Thai green curry. So many vegan options. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, really enjoyed our time. Will definitely be back.

One of the best ‘pad Thai’ I have ever had and quantity is just good for 2 people for curries. Red Thai curry is authentic too. Loved it

Great flavours and service. It was an ideal place for dinner before going to the cinema across the road. They have a good wine selection available too.

Lovely ambiance and the food was delicious. I was a bit worried by the green curry because of just how GREEN it was, but no it was perfect

Managed to snap a few pics before annihilating these dishes! Wonderful combination of flavours! Highly recommend Thai basil King with prawn and sambal barramundi. Very busy on a Friday night but service was quick and staff were great. Decor is lovely, like sitting in a private dining room. Right across the road from the Westgath theatre, perfect spot for dinner and a movie.

My local 'go to place' for dinner and has been for years. Consistently good food at not outrageous prices. Decor and ambience of 'Taxi' (as my family refer to it), are conducive to relaxation. Lighting is perfect. You can see what you're eating, but not feel like a 'deer in headlights'. Staff are pleasant - unobstrusive but professional. Try the rockling with sake and bok choy, and also Mongolian beef, finish with coconut panacotta. Wine by the glass or bottle at reasonable prices. Big plus for me is there's no loud head banging music.

I went to this restaurant last night after a great experience the night before post theatre the food cannot be faulted Curry puffs to die for. Had different curries both night the pad Thai is amazing flavourful great quality ingredients. Staff very kind gentle people.
I went with friends the first night family the. Second all were full of praise and keen to return. As Arnie says I’ll be back.

Taxiboat is very good. We went in a group of 16 and were catered for brilliantly. The venue is lovely. The food was delicious. The service was extremely good. Taxiboat is a very sound eating option in this area.

They do not know about friendly service.my food was not ready and she wanted for 3 minutes and when I asked after 5 minutes, she replied with a sullen face.people are not your employees, but your unkind behavior shows your quality.

Food was great, atmosphere lovely, The staff are very friendly but a little slow. Overall a great place to go. Lots of food choices.

Disappointing experience. Food was okay, however an overly loud crowd, along with service staff that didn't seem to know where the tables were, made it a night to forget. Hopefully this was a once off

This is my second visit to the restaurant. Had no problems with it the first time. However, upon my recent visit, I ordered the Thai red curry and even paid extra for duck. At first I thought they may have my order wrong as I thought it tasted more vegetarian with all the potatoes and eggplant, but then I finally came across two very small cubes of duck meat and the rest all skin! Very disappointed!

Came here for the first time last night, and this restaurant was such a delight. I ordered the Peking Duk Hokkien Noodles - very delicious. Portion sizing is large and well worth the value. Staff was nice and friendly. Inside is well decorated. Will be back again
