The chicken tastes no difference with the ones in coles and Woolworth. Other than the skin, the inside is very dry and has no flavor at all. Just go to Nandos next door…it’s much better there

Probably the best roast chicken, chips and salad. Chicken is tasty and cooked to a perfection (tender and juicy breast), Greek salad is fresh and with crunchy cucumber and fresh chips everytime.
Just missing tables and chairs to dine in, so that we can enjoy the food at their best condition.

Seriously this is the best take out in Melbourne. $11 for chicken, chips and salad is incredible. It really is… tasty! The chicken is herbed and charcoaled, and the chips fat and salty. Check it out!

Was given advice to check this store out the other day, couldn't be happier. Went in as a first time client on a super hot busy day and was welcomed by the front team nicely. Whole chicken cooked perfectly, excellent charcoal management with no burnt bits. As a client from Northcote, well worth the 20 minute drive.

I always come here to support their family business. Food is great and generous on chips. The gentleman owner was so good but the lady who prepares the foods doesnt wear the mask properly.the mask always on her chin. ‍️

Extremely rude woman serving and I’m beyond shocked by what I just witnessed. The woman serving had her mask down to her chin and wiped her runny nose with the back of her hand before proceeding to food handle. I can cope with your ignorance but far out you can keep your snot to yourself thanks. Walked straight out of the store.

Went to buy lunch, the shop owner approached me and said something which I couldn’t hear, he then pulled his mask down to say, “you can make an order but you must wait outside because you have no mask”. Double standards? I refuse to support a business who discriminates against a customer who Is a medically exempt individual. I will not be supporting this business ever again. Being medically exempt should not denote that a customer be treated any different. I hope this is an eye opener to the way the shop treats exempt people. Major shame.

As a business owner, you should make yourself very familiar with the DHHS directives for masks. You are actually in breach of the Chief
Health Officers COVID directions when you refuse entry or service to a medically exempt person. Such a refusal is also a breach of the Commonwealth Disability Discrimination Act 1992. If you don’t want people supporting your business because of your wrong approach that’s fine, let the Government compensate you on your financial loss then. People are struggling to make money, and here you are Discriminating a medically exempt individual who could of put some money in your pocket. You keep that approach up and we’ll see how far you’ll get

This place is hands down the best charcoal chicken. I know you might think that charcoal chicken places are all just dodgy little corner shops but these guys go of above and beyond every time. Super generous, I lovely Family owned business and I must’ve come here 50 times over the last few years because it’s just such a great business

Crispy skin, juicy meat, top flavour throughout. Generous with chips and their seasoning.
