Tasman Butchers Oakleigh

I believe this store in particular is very organized and they also have some specific stuff I couldn't find in any other Tasman store

Plenty of parking available, sanitizer on the way in, pre packaged beef, pork, lamb & chicken at competitive prices!
Also available a selection of Frozen Foods, jars of sauces, fresh eggs, fresh bread.

Like most Tasman Butchers, plenty of parking and a spacious store with a great range of fresh meat. Beef, Lamb, Pork and Poultry. Some Deli items, hams, sauces and cheeses as well. We shop at Tasmans regularly and the meat has always been top quality at a reasonable price. Only rarely will the supermarket have equivalent quality at a cheaper price. The freindly butchers are there all the time as well, so if you need a special cut or more of something they have always been happy to help.

Best meat and prices in Melbourne. I did my apprenticeship at Tasmans 30 years ago and they have always been the cheapest and best quality in Melbourne.

Not many options for deli meats for me when compared to the deli meats I have seen at stores like Saccas. But their meats are fresh and well priced and I would recommend this place for anyone who happen to drive through the area.

I'm a regular customer and there is one absent minded crew in there who gave me the doggie bones of the other customer and told me to relax when I was trying to explain the lady In front of me requested those and those werent mine.

First time I've been & very impressed. Best value meat in Melbourne. Better quality & price than the supermarkets & with a huge range of cuts. Will be buying all my meat there from now on.

2 stars for the meat value. The customer service was appalling. I went to get some meat at 3: 50pm and wasn't even greeted or heard any manners from the cashier, just had my bag shoved across. No wonder they're looking to hire new team members.

Started shopping here 7 years ago and the meat was fantastic; better quality than the supermarkets and cheaper However, a few years ago, the quality dropped and the prices jumped. I assume there was a change in management as the quality plummeted overnight and the premium free range meat they used to sell disappeared (product line changed). The meat is now very tough and expensive. I thought maybe only the Oakleigh store had changed but have tried several other Tasman Butchers and they are all the same. Shame, used to be fantastic but now better off going to the supermarket.

Ripped off. Just last week pork belly cost $11 and was not on special. Today cost $17. I check on market only $11. The staff was very lazy and not helpfull.

Great meat and good prices but staff is unfriendly when I was pay for meat she was threw of the meat I disappointed also she didn't give me plastic bag as well. I didn't know she's name she is old woman and wearing glasses.

Had 8.95 change and I said surely just give me 9 your such a big company but no! Tasman meats employees here are no good.

Nice staff. I get chicken carcasses for my dogs from here and it so happened that last time around i did not have change to get the trolley. The nice lady at the counter helped me carry the 12 bags to the car. A very nice gesture indeed! Thank you

It's great to visit a dedicated butchers for your meat needs. I find the staff know their stuff and can help calculate how much meat you need. On the downside I expected the prices to be better.
