Tandoori Den Camberwell reviews
71Food is delicious and great service, will be coming here again! There are so many dishes on the menu - a great selection
Have always been a huge fan.am a confirmed vegetarian as of today though. Have never seen a butter chicken with so many blood vessels included.
I often grab a takeaway for lunch and it's been always great. Last night I decided to come for a dinner and I must say that the food was on the next level. Thank you
A pleasant and unexpected surprise! We received a complimentary curry with our order tonight. Thank You Tandoori Den Camberwell for going the extra mile even in these tough times.
In my view one of the cultural gems of Melbourne serving fabulous Tandoori oven treats and rich and flavourful curries. Do not leave without trying the tandoori chicken and naan.
Delicious food! Gentlemanly staff! Great music (Sanam Re, One of my favorite songs)!
Next time I hope to listen to more songs! (pal, Tinka Tinka, Aashiqui 2, Bhula Diya, Mile Ho Tum, Teri Meri Kahaahi, Gulabi Aankhen, Hamari Adhuri Kahani, Aapke Pyaar Mein Hum, Janam Janam.)
Best ever Makani Chicken and our favourite Indian restaurant. Always on point with their meals. They also do take away and gift cards. Same owners for a very very long time. Often need a reservation but well worth it. Careers for large groups too.
Great Indian food and service is 10/10 every time I visit here. So far safe to say the best Indian restaurant in Melbourne
According to some Indian friends, Tandoori Den isn't spicy enough, but as far as I'm concerned, I think the food is fantastic, particularly dishes like the vindaloo and the tawa chilli chicken. I've held birthday dinners here and have got takeaway many times, and the food and service are consistently high quality.
Every time I drive past this place is very busy. I went with the family and was underwhelmed. Entrees were tired and appeared to be mass produced with a lack of love. Mains were good and sweets were a frozen blob something.
In this competitive market they need to be doing a lot more. 2 stars for the mains but won't be coming back. Might do pick up on the mains.
Very bad place.arrogant staff. We are a couple and we were told that you can't share your food (whose taste was also v bad) with each other. Better to stay away
I have ordered here food about 2 times. My experience in that both time was very bad. First time the food was not fresh and second time the quality was not good. Not only that the staffs in their counter was very arrogant and not at all professional. Also, the price is very high not worth to the taste and quality. Overall my experience was very bad. I definitely would not recommend this restaurant to anybody.
Fantastic food! We had a great experience here and the vegetarian options were perfect. Had the aloo bhindi and Dahl which were great complimentary dishes. Great value for money too. Recommend getting here if you're looking for good quality Indian cuisine
Best Indian restaurant in Melbourne. Have been coming here for more than 20 years and everything single time it’s been 10/10. The butter chicken and the tandoori are a must to try.
Excellent food in a easy to get to position. We had the banquet and it was fantastic and they kept bringing food until everyone was full!
Not a bad wine list and lots of chilled Kingfisher beer makes this a great night out.
You can see right into the kitchen via a huge glass window and watch the cook with a huge tandoor oven. Great discrete service.
Looking out to have authentic Indian food in eastern suburb? Tandoori Den is where you should stop by. The chefs of this place prepare fresh, tasty and authentic desi cuisine which is full of flavour. It’s a semi fine dine place and perfect one of you wish to have office lunch with 20 colleagues.
P. S: Make a reservation before you go there.
Superb food, fantastic customer service, great ambience. I will definately go again and again and again.
Rajesh at the restaurant was the best. Great service provided and very good food and ambience. Highly recommend this place.
Dissapointed a lot. They are offering Chicken curry with rice as 'Chicken Biryani' preparing instantly. When asked about it, they are justifying saying that they dont get much orders for Biryani and so they prepare it instantly and call it as Biryani. Also, they charge heavily for that less Quantity and quality Biryani
Ambience is cozy and seating is ample. Food is generic and samey tasting. Food presentation is below average. The restaurant itself is busy which is always a good sign. Service was quite friendly, albeit somewhat inefficient. The restaurant has been around for about 30 years so clearly they are doing something right but I could not determine what it was. All in all not a place that sets itself apart.
