A beautiful day to collet two new hens, the hens we saw were healthy and in a lovely clean pen. Was able to choose which hens we liked, the lady who looked after was a wealth of helpful information. Would recommend this business.

I love the individual care you receive when you visit Talking Hens. If they are out of feed at any time (i.e. If the truck hasn't arrived as expected) they offer to deliver it for you. I find this quite amazing really. Such fantastic and knowledgeable staff. Lovely showroom and worth paying a bit more to have healthy chooks.

If you are wanting to know everything there is to know about keeping chooks, then Talking Hens is the place to go. Not only are the staff knowledgeable, but they are friendly and helpful. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Great facility, lovely staff members, covid safe. We bought 2 beautiful hens with great colour and personality. Laying straight away. Also bought some food which the chickens love! Will be back again for more food in the near future.

The team at Talking Hens are very helpful and I am very happy with my hens. My young grandsons love them and have named them Rocky, Nippy Chicken and Banana.the hens love to interact with us, and keep the boys amused. And we get 3 lovely fresh eggs each day.

Our Hyline chooks are over a year old and have been top layers. I would highly recommend Talking Hens, super helpful staff that share helpful knowledge. Also recommend the Talking Hens feed, my chooks have remained very healthy on this diet.

Jason and the girls are a pleasure to deal with and they know everything i need to take on my backyard chicken needs. If i have any questions Jason is only a phone call away and if i need feed, nesting materials or most things chicken related they have it all in hand. I have a small flock of mixed breed chickens (3 Barnevelders, 2 Orpingtons, 1 Australorp X, 1 ISA Brown) and I have allowed them to taste test a few different varieties and brands of chicken feed. They show a clear preference for the 'Gourmet Blend Chicken Feed' from Talking Hens. The girls produce really tasty eggs with beautiful golden yolks. I order online and the service is always prompt, helpful and polite. Thanks Jason

Couldn't recommend talking hens highly enough! They go above and beyond for all our 5 superstar Hy Line Brown layers (also purchased here). We ran out of food this week while having to isolate because of COVID-19 and they were able to take an order of feed over the phone on a day they were closed and left out the front for my husbands dad to collect for us. So grateful to Jason and the team of legends working here. Would not go anywhere else!

Jason and co at Talking Hens are excellent. I mostly get the bedding and the feed and replenish the chooks from time to time. The chooks are always happy and healthy and Jason dispenses his advice both on the internet and personally with great knowledge and passion. A pleasure to deal with. Highly recommended.
