Taco Bill - Collins St reviews
66Amazing food and atmosphere, great prices and very friendly and helpful staff! Would love to visit again!
Food quality: terrible. Costumer servise: even worse. Never recommend this to someone. If you want to eat food in this restaurant, just rethink; there are much better places in Melbourne city.
Taco bill Delivers a taste of Mexico with every bite.
We visited on Last night, the menu at taco bill offers an impressive array of tacos, and highly recommend enchiladas, burrito bowl and chicken fajitas
The food is always delicious the best Mexican food have been ever tried
Very good service
Always loved going to Taco Bill but they have for last few times not had milkshakes available which is one of the reasons we go, they should take it off menu. We always ask for water but it never came.
Back to Taco bill with my Mexican loving friend. I’m kind of embarrassed to tell people I come here but secretly I do enjoy it. It’s not traditional Mexican but it is consistent and it’s tasty. I recommend the chicken flautas (not on the menu but they’ll make them for you) with a side of guacamole

Revisited TB today and our food was served swiftly and was reasonably priced. My friend ordered the Mexican punch which I personally thought was a bit artificial tasting but she loves it and gets it every time. The idea of coming here and not drinking mango margaritas is preposterous to me so deliciously down the hatch they went. I don’t mind coming here every now and then for some faux Mexican but food snobs may disagree
Original review
I came to the Collins St branch for dinner with my Taco Bill obsessed friend and was pleased to find one of the more vibrant spaces in the TB chain (not to be confused with tuberculosis, this is a much more enjoyable TB). The interior was as bright and colourful as the food with plenty of atmosphere. This is westernised Mexican food that shouldn't be compared with more trendy and authentic modern eateries such as Mamasita etc. But I think there's still a place for cheesy cheese nachos with plenty of sour cream and guacamole
Their $35 margaritas have not real alcoholic in it. The food is mid plus expensive for what you’re testing.at the end total 4 out of 10 experience.
Decent Mexican food when you have a craving. Had the combination plate and was quite satisfied. Great margaritas!
Bathroom could use an industrial cleaning, but I don’t eat in there, so not detracting from the food and service.
Muy ricoo!
The place is a good vibe.good food, big portion and nice price! I totally go back!
Good food, good vibes and Lovely and friendly staff.everything was perfect except the dead sauce i had guys be very careful, i guess it’s like tabasco sauce and without reading ingredients i put alot of it and it was way too much spicy but staff members were very helpful they gave me milk and after 5-10 min i got normal.it was funny but enjoyable too.rest everything was very great.very happy and will come back again to try more things ️
The level of hygiene in both the men's and women's toilets should absolutely be reported to food safe.
The place had 5 customers in total and the toilets were beyond disgusting. Floors haven't been cleaned in years. No toilet roll holder so toilet roll is on the women's hygiene bin. One toilet full of toilet paper and some vomit or liquid on the seat.
Mens toilet door is completely off the hinges and just dangerous. The smell was awful. No soap just hand sanitizer.
Delicious food with an extensive menu, something for everyone. Nice and funny staff.a very good price and quality ratio. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Great food, great staff, reasonable prices.
@manager/owner
- please hire 1 more waiter/waitress during holidays, today's (1 person) floor staff was juggling a table of 10+ and also doing cashier duties.
It will definitely improve the what otherwise would've been a 5 star experience.
Taco bill is already a legendary franchise in our beloved melbourne, serving every day and never fail to suprise with everchanging menu.grab your meal and jose cuervo tequila.cheers
Wow. $18 for a great lunch with soft drink, I had enchilada, taco and nacho with a icy cold coke. Staff super freindly, I had a takeaway but still very quick and neat, heaps of tables, spotless.
Service was great general ambiance was good vibes food was pretty good drinks were cheap and great
TJ IS AMAZING! Constantly asked if we are ok and needed anything so friendly! Best energy and vibes ask for her!
It is very expensive for what it is, the food is not great
If I rescue that the regular nachos were super tasty, they had cheese, guacamole, tomato sauce and sour sauce, they were super tasty.but the burrito and the taco I have tasted better
Love the beef burritos and margaritas. Glad I booked cause it got pretty busy at 730pm (Fri night). Cute waitress with the dimple was great too (Lucy I think). Finished the night perfectly with ice cream nachos - a must try. Definitely coming back.
Taco bill was my favourite food experience in Melbourne thus far! Staff were so so lovely and the food was superb! What a great atmosphere too, I wish we could eat here every night. I couldn't recommend more!
