Synergy Wholesale

Been with them for years now and wouldn't have anything to complain about. No real issues with the quality of the service, very reliable. Only hassle has been getting them to update a few email templates as we had an issue with some of the variables, would be a 10 min job, but seems like they don't really see the need. The second thing has been trying to get support for SPF records in the API, another thing they didn't really see the need for, yet their sister retail platform VentraIP supports this, so there is a need afterall. No multi-user/team for logins either which could be considered a security risk to some.

We have been using domain registrars and hosting services since 1998 (since the two-cows days) and I have to say that these guys are superior in value, service, knowledge and support. I honestly can't think of any company we have used in the past that even comes close to Synergy Wholesale in these respects. Thank you to the amazing team at Synergy!

Great value and service offerings. We have recently migrated a chunk of hosting across, not just to get better value for money but to have better control of the hosting. The ability to tweak all the core requirements of your hosting is very helpful as needs may change depending on campaigns etc

Delay with support response. More than 20hrs wait to have a response is a long wait. And pay $9+ for priority response is not what i was expecting. Lately its almost impossible to find an agent to chat online and get support.

Brilliant wholesaler. As an ex D. IT partner, who at the time was the true local provider, I was unsure what to expect but Synergy not only keep up, more often than not get in front of changes.

Forced to migrate from Ventra to Synergy. Synergy support has spent the last 2 days my wen issue was a scripting problem, then all of a sudden they half fixed it. Now the other half is a scripting problem again, despite the fact the script works as expected on the ventra server as well as on another synergy domain. Don't choose Synergy if you you place a priority on support. I will be redelgating my website back to ventra over the weekend until I can find a reliable host.

Was forced to migrate from VentraIP to Synergy. Phone number was not visible from anywhere on the site - was forced to use chat, which was unresponsive. Fortunately staff did reply with a phone number, so that's good. The user interface is janky and unpolished - definitely not a 5 star user experience, but the hosting itself and pricing seems to be ok.

Pricing is expensive for a wholesale product, and provides pitiful storage limits for the money. Doesn't perform that well in terms of site speed after doing comparisons with some of the "Cheap" providers (Godaddy etc who give 100GB storage space). Synergy is more expensive than Ventra for an equivalent service currently. 2gb, 2CPU, 5GB storage is currently $5 per month for 12 months with Ventra. Cheaper than the same wholesale product with Synergy? Ventra closed my reseller account and are forcing us to move away, or move to Synergy; at a premium of around $50 per month more than what I was paying. They do offer free migrations, but this doesn't add up. They have reasonable service depending on the agent you get, but I feel I am now forced to shop around due to pricing when I'd rather stay with them. Disappointed long term customer.

I couldn't imagine doing business with anyone else. Synergy's tech support is second to none and their products are great value with an easy to use dashboard for management and new orders. As a small business providing online services to (mostly) local clients, it's awesome to have an Aussie owned/operated company to work with and I am proud to be a reseller of their fantastic products.

We have almost 300 domains registered with Synergy Wholesale and have found them to be excellent. If you're thinking of moving providers SW are a great choice.
