We celebrated my daughter’s 18th birthday at SWAGAT THE WELCOME and It was an amazing experience for usFrom deciding the menu for the party. The owner (Mithu paji) was very helpful. The chef made the most delicious indian food and The staff members were very accomodating in honouring our requests and made our event a memorable one for everyone attending

If you are foodie and in a constant quest of desi food than Suwagat is highly recommended to all folks. The front staff member Taranpreet pampered me the moment I stepped into the restaurant. Moreover, Sujata who served us the food is extremely hospitable and courteous. The owner of the restaurant himself extended unprecedented hospitality along with a very informal chat. I would suggest to all folks that it is a must visit place. Good luck

Visited the restaurant tonight with my family.
Honestly, the best experience I’ve had in a long time. The food was amazing especially the butter chicken and naan breads. The service was incredible, I’m glad my family walked out full and smiling with the great customer service we had all night. We will definitely be back next Thursday night and will be letting my family & friends know about this restaurant.

This new management is the best one. Feels like a familiar environment. I would request everyone to give a chance to them

We did our son's first birthday in March 2022 and had a Very bad experience, do not recommend.
Our two tier cake was smashed and served. None of our guests had it.

Starters and mains were served separately and our guests who came late didn't have starters.

Drinks were not served even after asking multiple times. No proper glasses and ice were given.

All the deserts weren't served in bowls. Instead guests were asked to serve deserts in their own plates. Very insulting.

Will never go that place again.

This place was so welcoming. The food was amazing and the setting was really impressive. Great restaurant!

We hosted a party at this place. At the time of booking lot of freinds were catching covid. We estimated 50 adults due to covid times people were scared or catching virus. But on the day 61 adults showed up (happy that all came) which was all the invites we sent out. But restaurant staff didn't take that well which I understand but owner of restaurant was little aggressive in his tone over the phone because they could not handle 11 extra guests. That was no excuse for only 2 staff servicing 61 adults and dozens of children. People had to walk up to counter to ask for water, for spoons and food etc. At the time of booking I was told that if the guests exceed the number they would open up additional area upstairs to seat them even though all night it was never used for any other reason.but I was later on the day of event told that we won't be allowed to use additional area. Although they did set up additional one table to help. Many of our guests were still standing with no chairs to sit down.
Venue is nice inside good for small to medium gatherings bad service and food. Toilets ran out of soap in first hour. Toilets were not clean at all. Guest complained about smell coming from toilet out to the sitting area.

Now main reason we go into restaurants which is food was rubbish in my view. Paid top money for the service but got very little in return. At buffet we constantly ran out of spoons and food. Guests waiting for water at table. Overall most of guests did not like the service at all. I would avoid this place and would not recommend it to anyone looking to host a party. Again That's my experience your experience may come out different.

Unique venue with sumptuous food. I highly recommend for 80 to 140 people gathering. Very courteous service.

Really nice ambience and good food.

We had the whole restaurant booked out for a private function. The hall is really good for a party and photos come out good too because of that.

Had a lamb rogan josh meat was very tough and the sauce was very oily bit disappointing service was good

Food was Ok. But there was significant delay between a buffet tray getting empty and being refilled with food. I think the restaurant should be able to manage the flow of food when expecting a large group of people. Secondly, many of the plates provided for Mains were chipped from side. Now thats a bad standard. Male toilet condition was pathetic. One cubicle had its door lock broken, and the other one had the toilet seat detached from the actual toilet. And, there was no baby change table available to us. A courteous staff member took us to a room where we were able to change. Staff is good and courteous.

Went there for a birthday party, staff was very nice but food was terrible.
Starters were still manageable but mains like Goat curry, chicken tikka masala, Dal makhani none of the items had any taste.

I would Not Recommend this place.

We were few of us.man at the counter didn't welcome us. Very poor verbal English all students working.pathetic. I requested one of the boy to reduce the volume of speaker but they had a big gathering it was noisy & loud like a Marketplace. The thing is they are so GREEDY That they still took bookings of A'la Carte. Regardless a function was booked. At least 50/60 pax. We had to leave never heard from these guys with an apology. We are never gonna visit them again. Will tell all our friends n family. Hope it close down shortly. They dont deserve to operate with such a lack of Hospitality. Better of driving Auto Rickshaw.

Recently hosted a small birthday party dinner for some close friends…
Had a very nice experience…
Staff was very helpful and friendly.
Space was clean and did meet our expectations.
Food was decent…entrees was very good but only downside was the mains which were not too bad but I believe could have been better as mains lacked bit of flavor as couple of curries were literally very similar in taste although they should be different as they were different items.
But overall had a good experience…

Had my 19th birthday here and everything was excellent. The staff had amazing service and the venue was great. The food was definitely a highlight, highly recommended.

I worked at Swagat The Welcome as a Balloon Artist last night and after I had finished I was on my way out the door when one of the staff insisted I eat. They gave me 3 very delicious dishes of curry to take home as well as a taste of a dessert. Two of the curries were vegetarian and one was a goat curry. ALL were utterly amazing. The staff were very kind and generous to me. The feeling I get whenever I am booked to entertain the children at a function here is always very obliging and hospitable. It is a lovely place to visit. Highly recommended:)
