Swaad India's Zest

Visiting from Scotland and we popped into our daughter’s favourite local restaurant and we were blown away by the food and service. Can highly recommend the Chicken Tikka and Goat Curry. Thanks to Saby and the team for a lovely meal and for the delicious complimentary desserts.

Had a great experience at Swaad. Food was fantastic, the staff were very warm and welcoming. It's a busy spot for obvious reasons!

I have been going to Swaad since they first opened and have celebrated many milestones here with loved ones because I want to share this resturant with everyone.

The owner is genuinely passionate about the food and always treats myself (and I'm sure many others) like family.

The food is sensational. Everything is. I cannot speak highly enough about Swaad.

The butter chicken is to die for but I'm sure you will be happy with any dish. Highly suggest the the dal too, full of flavour!

This place is amazing, by far the best Indian food we have ever had. The spices, quantity, taste and quality of food is something you would find at the Hilton. So highly recommended. But wait there’s more. The service, care from the waiting staff and owner was of high world class standards. Last minute decision to go has been so worth it. We will be back.

I have had lots of Indian, but this one stood out, especially the butter chicken and Rogan Josh. The mouth-watering appetisers were so good and the food did not take long to arrive. The kulfi mango was also a delight. Definitely Recommend.

As always Saby and his team are amazing. Food is always on point and consistent. Great value and generous portions.

The manager needs to change his attitude towards customers when issues arise. When the food was late, he spoke next to my partner and apologized only towards him. He approached to us seemingly very nice but asked me rudely “what about you (feel about the food) ? ” At the check, when I suggested he should talk to both of us he argued he’s the manager and he knew what to do… I mean don’t you look at the person when you talk to or apologize to them? I don’t look local so I don’t know this is an attitude issue or racism or what.

One of few Indian restaurants with authentic taste and excellent service. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend the kulfi.

The most incredible samosas served with chickpea curry. The dhal, Rogan Josh, vindaloo and fish masala were stunning.

Swaad has always been on top list when it comes to eating at Indian Restaurant in Bentleigh. I have always been impressed with the new additions they do every now and then and Still maintaining great quality and taste on all the old dishes. Staff has been very polite and we always love eating at Swaad

This is a top class Indian restaurant serving very high quality food. Saby the owner is also the nicest person you will ever meet and always goes the extra mile for his customers. You cannot go wrong eating at Swaad.

Having eaten at all the best Indian restaurants in Melbourne, I would say Sawaad’s food was the finest. Every dish had its unique taste. The ingredients used were fresh and top quality.
Brought my extended fussy Indian family and every one of them raved about the favours. Will be back as often as possible. The owner (I think it was the owner) was friendly and welcoming.

Not only is the food at Swaad amazing and delicious, the service you will receive from Saby and his team is first class. My 9 year old daughter when asked where she wanted to celebrate her birthday didn't hesitate in mentioning Swaad because Saby makes us feel so welcome each time we come. We love eating at Swaad.

I went to this place the first time and was blown away by the great service. One employee in particular clearly showed that he was dedicated to satisfying the customers. The food itself was great, and I’d highly recommend the samosas.
