Sushi Galore

We had a great dinner for five. The restaurant was warm, the service was fast and the food was delicious. I highly recommend the gyoza udon noodle soup and the sashimi. I’ll definitely be back.

I came to this restaurant based on the rave reviews about their dumplings, and they lived up to the hype! But what made my visit truly memorable was the sushi boat I ordered. It was the best decision ever. Not only did it satisfy my taste buds, but it also provided some stunning content for my foodie Instagram account

Found this cozy little place walking down the street and was amazed at the quality they give! Chicken bento portion was perfect for me. Tempura was nice and crispy, and the fried chicken was perfectly seasoned - better than some fast food chains ngl! My vegetarian mom ordered the teriyaki tofu don, and I had a taste myself. The teriyaki sauce seasons it so well, one of the best tofu dishes I've tried. Definitely making this place a regular

Decent food. The devil ramen was great, but the standard ramen didn't have much flavour.

Price outside was advertised as $20 for a bento box. Went inside to pay and was told it was $25. I said they need to honour the advertised price and was told they couldnt honour it. 2 stars as the sushi roll was decent. $4.20 for an average sized brown rice roll is super pricey though.

Great place for family gatherings, friendly staff and delicious food. Pork ramen was a delightful surprise. Definitely recommend the fried ice cream, the kids loved it!

A hidden gem! The sashimi was incredibly fresh, the aburi salmon was a flavor explosion, the beef teppanyaki was perfectly sizzled, and the gyoza noodles were a delightful surprise. Friendly staff and an unforgettable dining experience. If you're looking for authentic flavors and great portions, this is the place to be. Highly recommend!

Great little sushi restaurant, stopped by to grab a quick bite on the way to somewhere else. To get something quick but still able to try a few things, went with the Bento Box. Very well executed, it was filled with a variety of delicious Japanese food at a reasonable price. Filled me up all in 20 minutes, without compromising on the quality of dinner without it just being a couple of sushi handrolls.

Really outstanding excellent food! We ate a late lunch in the restaurant on a weekday and the service was very quick. Two people shared a Beef Bento (lunch box with a wide range of different foods within) and a vegetable stir-fry with rice. The beef was extremely tender and delicious, and all the ingredients of all the dishes were fresh and perfectly cooked. The prices are astonishingly low considering pandemic inflation and the very high quality of the food. The restaurant itself is fine but not upmarket. I wouldn't complain though because you're getting top quality meals! The bento, with generous quantities, was $20.80 while the large fried rice was $13.80. This was ample food for two. A large glass of sauvignon blanc wine cost $10.

By far the best Japanese restaurant in Heidelberg.the seafood is so fresh and super tasty. I highly recommend the maki rolls! My dad and I couldn’t stop talking about how delicious they were!

This is not a Japanese restaurant, doesn’t taste anything like Japanese food. Very disappointing, not authentic at all. Oyakodon tastes like Chinese fried rice. Not recommended.

Service was very fast. Food was closer to what I had in Japan.
Value for money.
Definitely recommend if you want Japanese experience in closer to your home.

Dishonest. They will not accept Restaurant Choice Gift Cards even though they’re listed as a participating restaurant. Their claims that they have requested to be removed from Restaurant Choice website are lies as Restaurant Choice has communicated to us that there are no records of any removal requests. They attempted to charge an additional 10% on our bill if we insisted on using the gift card (which proved they can accept it) but they have no signage displaying a surcharge for the gift card, which is mandated by the ACCC. The ingredients are fresh but not authentic Japanese - tasteless and drowned in sauce. Avoid this place.

Don’t trust these 5 star reviews.it doesn’t even taste like japanese and it isn’t even run by japanese.i ordered an oyako don, fried udon and bento box and they taste all the same plus they use the same zucchini and chicken… servings are big for the price.

Great little place with tasty Japanese food that is worth the experience. Service was prompt and efficient and food came quick and fresh! Comibg back again to try some mire goodies!

The deluxe California rolls are actually f'ing delicious! Great balance of ingredients and a generous serve of salmon.
Bento is pretty good but would love some less meaty inclusions but that's a personal preference, many would be delighted at the value!

Eat in or takeaway, it really is one of the better Japanese restaurants in the area. It lacks a bit of atmosphere but genuinely the food is scrumptious.

Meat always tender.
Ramen is not very good, but I go to places especially for that so not a deal-breaker.

The best sushi hand rolls for miles, I happily travel well out of my way to get lunch from here. Make the effort to give them a try, you’ll never want to go to the major sushi chains again
