Super Chicken & Seafood

My dad went here to get chips and chicken. To come home and realise they’ve given him a frozen chicken. He went back to let them know, they handled it very well and super grateful for that but please just moving forward ensure the chicken is cooked not frozen.
That is the only reason for our rating, was due to the frozen chicken.
Chips are fantastic!

The prices here are very reasonable.but the service isnt good, granted it gets busy.but ive been here twice and both times they just dont seem to want to serve you.when i did get the food the chicken was very dry both times ive been there.if you want charcoal chicken i suggest the better local one is at campbellfield plaza.

I love everything about super chicken the chicken oh my gosh tastes amazing my dad goes there for overs 30 years they gave us for chicken then we wanted and didint pay extra the fish to good staff amazing chips perfect amount of salt. GO THERE NOW!

I ordered whiting pack. The food was really bad. Really bad. There was no one in the takeaway shop which means alot. Very disappointed.

Only tried the chips and gravy. Mid chips but avoid that gravy! I think it was beef gravy and I was not a fan.

I never write reviews but this one got the worst out of me. Their food was horrible ordered 5 fried flakes received them burnt like charcoal then complaint that I will not take them to make me new ones.
Again the new fish were horrible wasn’t even whitening. I asked for no chips they made all my meals with chips and charged me. The chicken was horrible felt like it was there for hours and hours and honestly got home and my brother starting dry retching from the smell of the food honestly threw it all out and got a piece of hair in the food.a waste of money. Mind you the owner is rude and was raising his voice because I returned the burnt fish. Honestly won’t be going there again and suggest everyone who is craving fish, chicken and chips not to go there. Very disappointing and no respect to customers

Terrible food the fishermans pack says whiting n flake both were not the fish they claim worst ever ive had in Melbourne will never go there again

Just got the burger. Not an issue

Thought I'd satisfy my cravings before ramazan and get a fried flake.
Instead I was given a whiting that had the texture of rubber and tasted horrendous!
It was soaking in oil and half the fish was darkkkk brown.

Shame as this place was the go to place for fish and chicken, not anymore it seems!

The chicken was old tasting and the gravy smelt off. Also the fish was taken out of a freezer and thrown straight into the oil. They say its fresh but it certainly isn't.disappointed

Massive portions for the price.chips are crispy and aren’t overly salted. Fish is a crumb batter with a large fillet unlike all those salty mostly batter fried fish.

The chips was good but the chicken tasted like it was 2 weeks old it was so disgusting and the customer service is horrible! Like come on! Show some respect and be positive! And they take soooooo long to get orders ready they need to cook up stocks of food so customers can actually get there food without waiting in line for 1 hour

Always love their gravy fries, their fish and chips and quantity of food always alot in less $$$$

Amazing fish and seafood basket! Not a big fan of fish and chips but their one was amazing. Not too sure about the scallops but calamari and shrimps were excellent!

Food was good but on one hand the customer service was terrible. Was treated unruly and with bias and blatant disrespect. I was very friendly and kind towards the girl and met with monosyllabic indifference. I asked how she was to which I got no reply, I said thank you have a nice day to which I was ignored. I was courteous and respectful to which I was responded to with blunt remarks. Then had someone walk in ahead of me to which she showered them with smiles and kind acts of acknowledgement, I think it had something to do with my race which is unfortunate in an area like this that’s full of biracial and multicultural people. She had glasses.

I’m seeing a lot of previous reviews and it seems the girl only pays specific and personal attention to the Arabic customers. I’m all about community but don’t blatantly disrespect me and act like I’m nothing because I’m mixed Asian and then go in to happily serve your own in a loving and respectful manner. What a shame.

Grab some fish and chips for a quick lunch or dinner and you will be hooked and it's also so affordable specially if you are trying to feed the whole family.

Conveniently located at Upfield train station. I have been customer of this chicken and chips shop for many years and I have to give 5 star. Super tasty and good services every time. I hope the shop can be there in the long term.

I am from Malaysia & i live in lalor for 7 years, 2008-2015.always travel to barry road for food.you have the best chicken & chips and also fish & chips in town.gravy also really nice.my family really miss this nice super chicken restaurant.

She uses gloves to touch the money and then she cuts the chicken.
There is always “10-15 min Love before you pay comment, but you will be there minimum for 30min.
And to top off the chicken is dry like their toenails.
