SUPA IGA North Melbourne reviews
45Not bad for collecting essentiall groceries and has some unique products but things aren't cheap here really.
Nice selection of some difficult to find items (Peter Boucher Dry Cured Streaky bacon, Dessert Pepper salsa)
Great local IGA - really wide range including lots of vegan foods. Includes a deli, noisette bread and bottle shop
I left my jeep behind when Iwent shopping so thought i would only be able to getwhat Icould carry. They were sohelpful, I got most thingson my list and they homedelivered. I only carried the fridge stuff
Bought a bag of cheese bread yesterday, the next morning when I was opening it, It smells so bad and surprisingly found the due date was 14 days ago.
Just MAKE SURE you double check the due date before buying food in this store
I entered this store when I was stuck by a sudden yearning for Grandma's old style Heinz canned spaghetti on white bread toast, and the convenient location of the store combined with the wide range of products was very impressive. Unfortunately the fruit and veg section left a lot to be desired as I was attacked by a raging swarm of bees as soon as I stepped close to the butternut pumpkins. Being allergic to bees and fearing for my life, I ran as fast as my little legs could take me to the frozen section and was delighted to discover a huge selection of ice creams at low low prices! The store manager's quick response time with the epi-pen combined with the great savings on dessert really made this a memorable experience
Got everything you need, a little pricier than Coles and Woolworths. Would not recommend for meats.
The guy working at liquor corner isnt polite and dont know anything about customer service. He needs to be polite. The staff needs to be trained specially how to behave with delivery girls/boys. They are nobody to tell us that we should love our job or hate it. Very pathetic experience first time I got in IGA.
This place has a ridiculous range of products for a small super market. Lots of speciality items. And great service
Prices are too high, staff at counter is the rudest I’ve seen.
It’s the only supermarket for west Melbourne area, quite disappointing.
Neat little grocery store in middle of neighborhood shops. Interesting selection of sweets and plenty of traditional selection. Clean, quiet, and has liquor store inside in case you want a drink selection too.
Honestly the staff here have really awful way of greeting and serving you. Even if you come with smiles they look like they are hoping to die a quick death rather than work behind the counter, and that they can take you with them. And its expensive.
Way better than Foodworks
Foodworks fresh produce is soft and past use by date. Now in the hands of MCC Environmental health officer. Also store is dirty on entering. There are items cheaper at Foodworks than IGA.will still go to Foodworks for drinks and biscuits but not fresh produce. Photos talen after getting red peppers. One good on night of purchase but other was this lunch time following day. IGA is great and staff speak English so they understand what you're asking.
Great/wonderful/helpful staff working here.
Some things prices are a bit over priced/expensive.
Overall it is a OK place to go to get a few things but wouldn't go here for a bigger shop.
Would probably go back here.
If you can avoid the face-seeking fist of the manager, Robert De Niro, head to the frozen section for the best ice cream deals in Melbourne.
Super service from the friendly staff, who really go the extra mile. Convenient location, with a good selection of dairy-free and gluten-free product. Worth-while stopping by.
This supermarket, for locals, is all we need from a supermarket because we shop at the Vic market for most fresh produce;IGA has everything else we need. I find the stock really eclectic and interesting. Lots of healthy products, lots of multicultural options, organic options, and ENGLISH MARMITE! (Called OUR MATE in Australia).
Thank you to all the staff.
Has most of what you want, though because of the limited size they might not have a few more niche products. But it's perfect for your everyday shop if you live nearby, and the best choice in the area.
Slightly disappointed by the lack of daniel devito and king hits.we went in expecting a phat king hit, and came out with great ice cream at low low prices.the nangs were alright too
