Five weeks into recovery from sledge hammer like blow to lower back.just bent over a little but that's what it felt like.and prospects were not looking good. Five infrared sauna sessions at Sunlighten on Clarendon and nearly back to normal. Restraining myself from hopping on the TT bike for a Black Rock spin cause we are not quite there yet. Highly recommend the infrared sauna treatment for deep joint injury.most therapeutic. The traditional hot box Swedish sauna does not compare to this advanced technology. Thankyou Rose and Erin!

Have never really been a fan of saunas due to the thick, hard to breathe air but this was totally different. It was relaxing and so enjoyable I ended up purchasing a bunch of sessions. The perfect way to relax and have some me time leading up to my wedding.

Unlike any other sauna experience i have had, i pleasantly discovered infra red sauna was a relaxing, nourishing experience. I felt refreshed and energised at the end of the session. The staff informative and professional, premises clean, decked out with tasteful and beautiful decor, that enhanced the ambient and relaxing presence. It was an unexpectedly amazing experience, that i have continued to recommend to all friends. And the most clinically valuable method for heavy metal detox, which was one of my personal interests in attending. I would highly recommend the premises and services provided.

Following a recent visit to Russia that included a sensational session in the traditional local steam “Banya” in one of the villages, we started researching the option of installing a sauna at our home.
In my research I discovered the alternative popular option and advantages of the Far Infrared Saunas.
However, shopping for one proved to be very confusing since prices varied significantly!
I found that Sunlighten in Melbourne was the only place where we could actually inspect and experience the benefits of a Far Infrared Sauna.
We booked a session online in an mPulse Conquer full spectrum, 3 person sauna just to gage the experience of an infrared sauna.
The sauna looked stunning; it was heated-up and ready for us in a private enclosure upon arrival.
I was amazed at the comfortable dry and pleasant heat but had my doubt that it was sufficient enough to induce a sweat; it didn’t last long before sweat started pouring.
Leanne stepped outside for a drink a couple of times but I wasn’t going to leave this comfortable cocoon! I actually felt the gradual relieve of pain in my lingering golf-elbow.
The post-session feeling was amazing, my body felt warm and I spent the next 2 hours walking the street in my t-shirt at 12 deg. C.
We decided there and then that this is what we want to install at home; we asked for a quote.
I was surprised when the quote came at 10-fold higher than the cheap “single Spectrum” saunas that were available from the on-line only outfits.
Further research convinced us of the benefit of the full-spectrum (far, mid and near) infrared; this unique technology coupled with the track record and comfort of dealing with an established local business makes it a clear winner.

I was a little dubious as to the dual function of a showroom with sauna rooms to boot but upon visiting I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms are private & clean & the saunas appeared to be of exemplary workmanship. There's a very relaxing ambience in the rooms with dim lighting & soothing, meditative tunes, & the lady I dealt with was very pleasant & accommodating at all times. I tried out the hyperbaric chamber, followed by a near, mid & far infrared sauna, & as somebody with a slew of debilitating health issues, I came out surprisingly invigorated. In short, I can't wait to go again.

I feel like I'm floating on a cloud for hours after going here – it's so relaxing. The Far Infrared saunas are high-tech and super clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. I'd go every day if I could!
