Sugardough

I have given the new management of this established local cafe 3-4 tries. However they have disappointed me again and again. 1.fly in soup - when I pointed this out they didn't offer me a refund, insisting I have the other soup which I didn't want. 2.rude owners/managers - they are unfriendly and unwelcoming 3. I cam back to offer them a 3rd chance. What did I get? The beef soup was made with mince! It was watery, tasteless and disgusting. I asked for a refund and left. I haven't been back and wont until the management changes.

Classic meat pies. So heartwarming to find somewhere to get a good hearty pie in Brunswick East.

My fav breaky/brunch place. Cheaps and delicious, non pretentious vibe. Love the little courtyard out back.

My absolute favourite cafe of all time! I have never experienced such a vibrant & cosy cute place like this. Once i discovered Sugar dough Cafe on Lygon St i never went elsewhere, i have recommended so many friends & my work colleagues here and they all love it. Their home made sweets are to die for! Coffee is amazing! The owner (Kung) is so friendly with her customers and always welcoming. If you love your deserts and great coffee, sugar dough is the place to go. Always look forward to coming every day.

I used to go to sugardough a long time ago solely for the AMAZING jam doughnuts. It's changed hands but seems like a good cafe but if you used to go there the plum jam and apricot jam doughnuts are no more.

Great neighbourhood bakery, love their cakes and bread, loose leaf chai and coffee is one of the best on this strip
