Genuine friendly atmosphere. Opens early. Nice variety to choose from and good prices. Plus they have ‘The Age’ to read. A good place to choose as a ‘local’.

Definitely not recommending this place to anyone at all. A friend just had a horrible experience there and was being disrespected by the people working there. Racist and rude staff. Might want to check the bad reviews to see what I’m talking about. There’s plenty of other great cafes in the area. Just skip this one honestly.

Breakfast pie alone is worth the trip. Ripper coffee. Vietnamese iced coffee absolutely bangs.

Friendly staff, large array of cakes and such. Sadly the entrance isn't wheelchair accessible (it's one large step) if adding or getting any sorts of ramps added is not feasible I think it would be good to have menus you can read when sitting outside the cafe and ideally with pictures of the items. And when ordering staff can come out to you and say if any of the options are sold out.

Everything here is delicious! Especially the breakfast pie & egg & bacon pie. They are super yummy & great value for money. You can taste they’re home made

Don’t support business’s that only pay there staff $12 an hr after tax. I’m appalled to hear my friend has been mistreated this badly. Also didn’t see a pay check until 5 weeks after working there.

The best no frills cafe that is consistently delicious, always serves high quality food and the staff are always so lovely (also the prices are like taking a time machine to 2010.) Everything is made in house and you can taste it, my favourite cafe in Brunswick!

Had generous & delicious bacon and scrambled eggs here for extremely reasonable price. You won’t find cheaper in Brunswick. Great pastries, cakes, pies and everything else you could want. Highly recommend.

Wonderful that this Cafe is still going after all these years. Always worth a visit for their delicious array of cakes, quiches, pies, vegetarian pizzas, bread, salads etc. Such reasonable prices as well.

While I'm working in Lygon st, every morning and lunch I rushed to here to get latte and lunch spatially vegi pizza or egg and bacon tart. Never have regretted. Also very friendly. I guess ideal family business.

The food is very tasty, well presented and great variety. Staff very friendly and professional.

Can’t go wrong with an afternoon treat from here. There is always an amazing range of cakes and slices and the sourdough is to die for!
