Subway

We drove all through Geelong as the kids wanted Subway. We knew it closed at 7: 30pm so arrived at 7: 05 and sure enough staff had packed everything up ready to knock off early.

Kids say this is annoying and that they think it’s very lazy. Sad kids = Sad parents.: (

The old lady that works there is the rudest person I have ever met. She gave the the wrong order and was completely abusing her employees and suggesting they have done the wrong thing, even though the employees are better at her job then her. She is the worst manager. The employee that served was however was so wonderful and respectful, I felt really bad for her cause the manager kept belittling the food she was making and made her mess up constantly. Do not come here and if you do, avoid the manager at all cost!

The old lady who I'm assuming is the owner is one of the rudest people i have ever met. Felt really bad for the other worker being belittled by her the entire time for absolutely no reason.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE (And sub)

Please stay away from this subway, the tall old lady, treats customers appalling, but I’d rather be on this side of the glass as the workers cop it ten times worse.
She is condescending, aggressive, borderline abusive towards her staff who are doing the exact same job I’ve seen any other employee do at every other subway do.
This place needs to be boycotted so it goes under, or bought out, then the manager can learn her lesson in how to run a business.

Apart from that, sub was trash, poorly put together and extremely stingy on everything.

When I asked for extra pickles
She said that way to much
I love pickles
Don’t ask for extra anything you wouldn’t get it

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.
This is how my interaction went.

Me: hello, would I be able to get 2 white bread foot longs.

Man: sure

Me: oh there is a bit of brown gunk on that bread, can I get another one?

Man: sure
He then puts the bread with brown gunk on it back on the shelf!

Man: starts putting meatballs on my 2 footlongs

Me: what are you doing?

Man: you asked for meatballs

Me: what? No I didn't!

Man: yes you did!

Me: no I didn't!

Man: scrapes the meetbals back off

Then 2 ladys come out and take my order
I ask lady one for snitzel of one sub and no meat on the other then she gives my sub to "lady 2" who asks me what salad I want, I tell her and then she puts the salad on and wraps it

Not to mention the lady LITERALLY YELLING AT ME to speak up

I say: where's my meat, then she got it out of the oven. But because she already put the salad in, there was no room for the meat, so instead of putting tje meat in the sub, she put it ON TOP OF THE CLOSED SANDWHICH! Then wrapped it up and cut it 7 1/2 in" on one side and 4 1/2 in" on the other! I was sharing that sub with a friend! Never going to this subway again!

The manager (older, blonde, tall lady) is the rudest person I’ve met. Doesn’t listen to the order, puts next to no salad on the subs. Even requested more lettuce and she added about three bits to the three bits she’d already put on. The wonderful kids working there do a great job and to deal with the way she treats them and the customers, it’s just heartbreaking.

I work here and it is absolutely amazing!
We are looking for more staff so no matter what age you are being down your resume and we will have a look!

Everyone please read this if you have minutes. Customers or anyone who looking for a job at Subway Waurn Ponds. Please read. I was one of the new staff there and I’ve just resigned as I was treated very badly by the owner called Samantha Roach (the old tall, white blonde hair). When I was not sure how to make some sandwiches and I went to her and she said Isn’t this what you used to do at Sub Westfield? It was in a strong tune and rude. She said this to me all the time. She also blame me to what it wasn’t really my fault and never let me speak out. Keep pushing me working 4 hours non stop and I couldn’t have a chance to drink even water. Food or drinks for staff? No! She even cheated on customers food portions. Make everything less. Ex: tomato need to put 3 slices on an 6 inch but she told me to put just 2 slices and everything else just little bit. Today at 12: 30 there was an evacuation people in Waurn Ponds and she keep me finish serving customers. Eventually, I left and when I came back, she blame me in front of customers for being left. Then she keep me working till 2: 10pm which is my roster finish at 2pm! She roster only 1 staff and her and make just 1 staff does everything with a long queue of people. She really cheated in labour! Please re think before you apply for a job here. I’ve never seen Aussie boss this kind before. People, there’s a lot of places to eat at Waurn Ponds.

Terrible customer service asked for a large salad bowl and I'm like is that a large as she didn't fill all the way with salads, the lady is like it goes on meat with the size. Would u like more salad? Yes please so she put 3 more salad leaves a nd 2 capsicum on i have ordered many large subway salads and this is the worst!

I ordered a large salad bowl and basically got a small. When I asked for extra spinach, she gave me three leaves! The old, tall lady with the blond hair is who served us. Really stingy portions. Very rude lady. Strongly recommend avoiding this subway.

15/11/21 between 3pm-4pm.
We got our uber order and it was lovely! I've ordered from other subways including the one I used to work at before and they're always sloppy and soggy by the time we get them home. Ours today were made really nicely! Thank you to whoever made it! We appreciate it very much and will order there again: D Good stuff!

It was quite busy in the store but the team working had a great production line and made it go very smoothly. All extremely friendly. Very clean store also

Subway waurn ponds worst customer service ever. Didn't care about service more at waving to ppl walking by.

Grouse place to eat interesting and fresh too and more fresh veggies than you can poke a stick at etc.

This place was good, but I think new management or new staff.anyways There was an old lady in the counter, she was sooo rude, literally she was yelling at me, very bad. Not acceptable

Sandwiches are alright, but one of the staff members was kind of rude today when I wanted to redeem a free combo for new subscribers to Subway app. She first lied about not being able to do it, she then agreed to do only one (my partner wanted to redeem his too), to then unwillingly agreeing, but reminding us through the process that we should be oh so thankful about getting a "free" (paid with personal information, actually) meal. Not coming back.

WORST SUBWAY EVER! The old lady and bloke were just watching the young girl work while we all waited. Like maybe do some work, this business is doomed with lazy, rude and incompetent owners. I'm tracking calories at the moment and fit a veggie delight in but she barely filled it up, Like come on bro surely Ur not gonna stinge out on the lettuce. The old chick looks like she hates her life and hasn't smiled since they proved the earth isn't flat. And the old guy looks like he hides in the dunny 4 hours a day to get away from her. Moral of the story is just go across the road unless you want a shunty sub.

The rumours and other reviews are true. This is the worst Subway I've ever been to. Slow on service, stingy on portion size, tried to charge me more than listed price and all the while, Karen The Owner (assuming her name is Karen) has a bad attitude. AVOID.
