37 The service in this particular subway has fluctuated over the last 12 months. I'm not sure if it's been change in management or switching out of employees, but it went from me having an employee look at me dumbfounded without a clue on how to make my sandwich to employees who needed very little guidance, who were quick and efficient.
The subs are always pretty good, but on occasion I've found the bread to be a little stale and the workers do tend to skimp on the salads.
This is not a Subway you'd want to sit in to eat. People are coming and going constantly, trucks outside, people literally standing 30cm away from you at any time. No good. Not much they can do with it though.
Don’t bother considering this a fast-food option. Staff looks like they are forced to work here, totally unprofessional and rude behaviour with all customers in store. Waited a really long time to collect online order. Don’t even consider it if you want something on the go.
My wrap was so toasted it was hard and inedible with next to no filling. I have the same order everywhere I go and this is by far the worst. So much for same procedures and consistency across all stores. Would not stop at this store again
Very very slow service, despite there only being two people in the store.

You can turn around I have the best Equipment in the whole of Geelong. If you don’t pay attention to it, it doesn’t work properly.
Then to turn around and blame the customer in front of everyone, stating that I haven’t ordered it by the app, then I had to actually argue that point, not cool

I've been here numerous times before and since the renovation so this is a pretty accurate honest review. The shop front is nicer with better promotional posters, inside the newer chairs, tables and floor is well matched but i just hope the floors and chair bottoms and backs get kept clean as much as possible as marks and scuffs will become more obvious in this colour and mateial choice. The bin has received an upgrade i believe; now with a recycling side. The music is played lower then before; keep this please, however only 1 speaker is working. A sad departure is the access to the toilets is now for staff only. I genuinely think this was a great selling convenience over going to the shops next door. Just returning to the sitting arrangements, the tables are higher which is great as they're now resting elbow height however i feel they're smaller in size so you'd struggle with 4 guests without spacing out the joint tables. Now for the food; most salads most days seem to be fresh but you can get the odd older vegetables; staff are nice enough if you ask for fresher ones from the fridge. The meat is in a similar situation; to the eye you can see certain filings which aren't popular over lunch can look a bid aged at dinner time. Now for the most important part - PRICE has sky rocketed since the upgrade with prices by up as much as 40% as an example on the cheaper option of the pizza sub. It's a sign of the times; hopefully they double down on the freshness of ingredients and OH&S / food handling to make the product seem more premium as it's in the "pizza price range" now. Atleast the car parking out the front is still free ;)
Absolutely incompetent staff don't listen put wrong things on after I said what I wanted.
Telling me it can't be done yet done again and it works suprise suprise

Very rude girl who was not wearing subway uniform, appears nice at first but then quickly switches to passive aggressive. She put the sauce on like a maniac and when I got home to eat there was sauce everywhere, not to mention plastic was left in my sub from the sauce packet! Now that the subways have new owners it has never been the same. Will not be going back.
This is consistanly the WORST subway in geelong.food always messy just thown on with out any care and never to formula.
Sadly this is not a good subway. Avoid if possible. Very stingy with toppings, they mess up your order, they rush, they don't really listen properly. It's a shame really.
This is not a good subway. Went in for about the 4th time and encountered 2 very rude girls. They were laughing and mucking around while 5 customers were waiting, throwing rubbish around the store and when I pulled up the girl for being so rude she became ruder. Will definitely be contacting the boss as I have footage of the way she was acting as I left the store
Amazing experience with Ellen her customer service and subs were above and beyond what we normally receive at other subways me and the family will definitely return. Thank you.
Went to go there to get dinner at 8: 20 they were already mopping & packed up and when I entered they said they were closed even though the website and sticker on the door say it closes at 9pm
This incident occurred a couple weeks ago however I cannot move past it, I was served by a girl called Elle or Ellen and despite how nice she seemed at first I found her to be extremely snappy and judgemental, I simply asked for a roll and she immediately switched from bubbly to passive aggressive saying something along the lines of “a roll? What do you mean a roll what type of bread do you want? ” It was said in an incredibly disrespectful tone and I could not believe that this is how your staff are treating people
The girl at the counter made decent dub with enough salads but she does not know how to pack that. As soon we opened the sub everything was all over the place.
Loved our service from Ellen tonight! So friendly and bubbly, fantastic staff member.

Good Clean and fresh, never had a bad experience. 1 got ft long sub! Delicious, filled the beast in.my tummy.
I have had a visit there now for the 4th time. Had both the wrap and the foot long. I was surprised that they pack up both the wrap and the footlong really well. Especially the wrap - there you really gotta make sure it closes up with everything in it. The staff knows how to put a good portion but pack it up perfectly at the same time. Deservingly 5 stars!
I was served by the most lovely girl today. She somehow went above and beyond for the 5 minutes she served me, was super bubbly, and we had a great chat. I didn’t get her name but she was working at 5: 30 on Thursday the 3rd of Feb 2022. Give this girl a raise please xxxx
