Highly recommended. I took two trial classes of two different styles and couldn’t help myself in enrolling in both. The teachers are awesome and it’s so structured that you learn so much alongside having fun. Both G and Divya are amazing teachers I also suggest to start kids batches as well if possible

Well Well What do I say about this Dance Studio. Google doesn’t have enough stars which I can give to review it. The 13 year old me watching dance performances in an award ceremony on TV to my fav musician AR Rahman manifesting that wish I could ever dance to his amazing tunes on stage like that. Fast forward 25 years later and I am dancing on stage as a professional dancer trained by the amazingly talented teachers at Studio J to the very musicians tunes. I started doing classes with Studio J in 2019 at age 36 to pursue my passion and for the love of dance. The community is so welcoming and non judgmental. I continued, persisted and always showed up on classes even through pandemic in studio and online, auditioned for their performance crew and got selected. Wow it’s better than any fairy tale story I read - Am truly living my dream Immensely blessed, humbled and honoured to be part of this Studio which truly is my second home ️️ It’s never too late to start your journey and pursue your passion Join this studio you will love it

Studio J has given me the confidence that I didn’t think I ever had in me.
Coming in as a non dancer, I thought it was be a daunting experience but boy was wrong the amount of support from my teachers Samson & Somya has been nothing short of tremendous.

I started going to Studio J last year and now I am so much in love with classes at Studio J. They have so many dancing styles we could learn and perform. I’ve had a wonderful term at Studio J and look forward to joining more in future. If you are a shy person like me then I recommend the beginners classes. I did Belly Bolly with Raksha and this has helped my confidence so much in such a short time. Everyone is super friendly and classes are a vibe!

The dancer in me has been reborn. I can't thank enough the faculty and management at Studio J for providing a platform where I could learn and practise this art form. I join one class (style), and I see the class before mine and after mine (which are different styles to my class) and I think to my self.omg this style also looks super cool so next term im going yo enroll for the styles and then that becomes 3-4 styles haha!

Hello, I am Iain, a current an employee of Studio J Dance. As an employee of 6-months, and believe that it is my duty to share an independent and unbiased review of the organisation's inner operations with you all.

I begin with Jaya Karan, the Chief Executive Officer and Operation's Manager of the studio. Not only is Mrs Karan a stellar professional in her management of the studio's patrons, she extends a tremendous balance of generosity, straightforwardness, and care for her employees. I recall one instance whereby an air conditioning unit and office light were left on after closing, skyrocketing the studio's electricity bills. Mrs Karan avoided blaming her employees, and instead, kindly informed them to ensure that all the lights and electrical units are switched off before closing. Another example of Mrs Karan's relationship with her employees regards my recent promotion from Operations Manager to Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the organisation. My hard work and consistent dedication to enhancing the environment of studio J was not overlooked. As COO, my increased workload results in me having to work out-of-hours. However, Mrs Karan is aware of this, and often absorbs responsibility for unfinished duties to avoid working her employees overtime.

Whilst many individuals, including Mrs Karan herself, acknowledge that the studio may require some infrastructural and technological upgrades, the quality of the services provided remains first class. Following the operational impacts resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic, Mrs Karan successfully implemented technologies to deliver her studio's services completely remotely. Without formal training in information technology or a similar field, Mrs Karan achieved 100% online delivery. This technological advancement has led studio J to become one of the most successful and engaging dance studios in Australia, with patrons signing in from all over the world.

Lastly, despite being kept in the dark regarding Mrs Karan's meticulous employment strategy, I applaud her ability to curate a team of employees that are cooperative, outgoing, and professional. As COO, It is my duty to oversee the company's staff. I can safely say that all employees work diligently and instil a great deal of time, care, and effort into the services they each provide. I have developed a strong relationship with all of the studio's employees, and despite the occasional lateness of a few employees, their consistent dedication to the company's patrons and Mrs Karan is remarkable.

Studio J Dance is an incredibly professional organisation that invests a tremendous amount of effort into providing the highest quality service to all of its patrons. I am deeply grateful for my position at the organisation. I recommend our services to any individual who holds a passion for dancing, is keen to challenge themselves, or is looking to expand their community of friends.

This studio is well managed by Jaya! Enjoyed the Kathak open, technique and diva classes by Ida! She’s soo good with choreography and very patient in teaching. Looking forward to the next term!

I am so glad I found studio J. Amazing dance studio. All the instructors are extremely talented and helpful to people of all ages and skill. They have lots of group classes every week in many dance styles. I started with one class and now doing 6 classes. Just love it.

This is my 4th term with Studio J and it has been such a pleasure learning Kathak from Guru Ida at StudioJ. The team is highly professional yet so warm and welcoming.
They have a variety of dance styles available to learn from and very talented, fun and professional trainers.
