Strike Bowling Melbourne Central reviews
68Had our daughters birthday here! Our host, Allie was amazingly attentive and made the entire function run so smoothly! She is a dead set legend! If u dont book your party with her u r missing out!
Extremely disappointed with the service provided. Went bowling with a couple of my friends and was denied entry because I didn’t have a physical copy of my ID (but had one on my phone) that it was “too much of a risk”, which is completely fine, company policy I understand, I traveled home for one hour to get my ID and once I arrived back the bouncer on the door was letting people in with pictures of ID’s on their phones. I was extremely annoyed. We were then waiting for our lane to be set up for us, we noticed two other customers had started playing on the lane we were supposed to, so we went up to the counter to ask. The girl was extremely rude and even raised her voice at my friend, then said she had lost our booking and names for the game.
It was soo good, and when we played the match I got 105 points or scores o it was pretty fun day
Very helpful staff, convinced us we were very good at the escape room even though we were sharing a single brain cell. 10/10
MILB (Man I love Bowling) put all the balls away after I was done and the nice fella behind the desk recognised this and gave me some free games for next time. Absolute king thank you.
Roxy and Sam were badussin, I was sitting at the bar and I could feel that I was about to pass out (I have a lack of iron) and as I fell face first onto the bar bench Sam caught me before I fell off the bar stool, Roxy grabbed me lemonade and a pillow to sit on and frequently asked if I was okay, and then took me to the couches when I was feeling better.
TOP QUALITY SERVICE!
Strike Melbourne Central was the perfect choice for our kid's birthday celebration! We were absolutely delighted with the fantastic arrangements. A special shout-out to Arshia, our wonderful party host, who orchestrated the event beautifully. Thanks to the entire Strike team for creating such a memorable experience for the kids and our guests!
Escape rooms have potential but when doors automatically get opened due to time without notice you end up wasting time in clues that aren’t relevant. Great from poorly executed
Worst manager ever I would say. She is really not even considerate.
Rules are so tight guys. Please do not forget your ID else nobody is gonna ket you in.
It is a bowling alley with a bar and you guys have to have ID’s else you will be kicked.
Just wanted to have good time with family. All our ID’s are online now post covid. I don’t see why that would be an issue when other venue’s are willing to accept.
BAD well not bad but like ehhh what do we do kinda vibes music too loud needed my notices cancelling headphones lovely staff pay rise for all bad wall art - slimy person - get a real dart board b it hhhhhhh <3333
Just finished an escape room. Staff (Max?) was really helpful and friendly! The room was also very fun
Wesley (an employee who works there) is literally the nicest person ever! ️ We went there for bowling and lasertag with a HUGE group, and The whole experience was worth it only for his friendly behaviour and warm hospitality! Will come back again only for Wesley! (Also the games are fun too obviously)
Staff was friendly and professional. I liked the choice of music but it was too loud which made catching up with friends whilst bowling a bit of a struggle. The space for seats for each lane is minimal. It's like being in the theatre: if you sit at the end of the couch and it is your turn to bowl, everybody has to stand up to let you pass! So only 3 stars overall.
We wait until 6pm for it to open and it so worth it!
If we don’t make it their early, I guess it’s gonna be crowded.
-They have drinks and food to but not really interesting, reasonable price.
They also fixed my name when they spell it wrong, I like it.
-The employees are really nice & friendly. Always happy w us.
-The bathroom has nice view, although it’s kinda far.
They have others games too.
-We have 6 people and $22 each.
Will return!
Wesley and the team at strike bowling were incredible. We made our booking for the 29/04/2022 at 8pm for a group of 25. Everyone had a blast, we strongly recommend Melbourne central for big groups. The drinks and food were also great. Especial mention for Wesley, they were super friendly and helpful.
I booked Laser Tag for my daughter and her friends and a couple of bowling lanes for the grown ups in our group. We all had such a great time. Haven't been bowling in such a long time and I forgotten how much fun it is.
We were so well looked after by Alex and a special shout out to Wesley who was incredibly accommodating and ever so friendly and lovely. Thank you also to the lovely female team member who was so thankful that we were nice customers as she has had some bad experiences lately. It's not so hard to be nice or a decent human when the staff treat their customers as well as they do here. Was a good reminder that hospo/retail staff have to deal with some unfortunate, grumpy, rude people. As if we all haven't been through enough the last couple of years. Be kind people!
Thanks for a great night! We'll be back for sure.
One of our party injured themselves before we had started laser tag.
Allie the host was extremely helpful and accommodating, allowing us to combine with another group so that people could sit out. She was also very engaging and made us feel welcome.
Not bad but on our bowling lane there was problems. The pins got struck twice so I had to chase it up with reception which was a hassle.
Four of us came to Strike Bowling in Melbourne Central on a Friday night. We had a 6pm booking but when we arrived the staff told us that one of the lanes was having issues so we would have to wait for the next lane to be free. Fortunately they provided us compensation and we got to play darts for about 45 minutes whilst we waited. Once the lane was ready, we had one game of bowling and it was good fun. After bowling, we went and played one-on-one laser tag. I had forgotten just how much fun it is - such a throwback to being a primary school kid and going to laser tag birthday parties. We had such a fun night at Strike in MC and I hope I can come back and enjoy the rest of what they have to offer!
What an awesome crew at Melbourne Central! (and the entire funlab team) They hosted our Captain Melville staff party last night and we had a blast. Amazing service, delicious food and great atmosphere provided by the staff. Special mention to Adam for personally looking after us the entire night, you're an absolute legend, thanks mate!
Also a shout out to the crew next door at B. Lucky & Sons who looked after us into the late hours of the night while we exercised our inner child on some arcade machines
Thanks again team, we will be back for sure!
