The food was great, even though there are not variety of foods in here. But it was good enough for me to have a nice meal at the restaurant. Free one cane for drink if you pay by cash.

Limited food choices, mostly frozen processed foods. The only things I remember that could have been fresh were squid and veges. Hotpot remote control some left hanging, floor is slippery, could have been a hazard for kids.

Whatever 5 star reviews are listed here are paid reviewers and bots INCLUDING whatever social media has hyped this place up to be. EVERY low star review that you see under this restaurant will be the only valid reviews.

It's run by dejected, unpassionate owners and staff who are just there for the pay check and praying customers fall trap and walk through the front door, all to experience:
- constantly insisting to pay cash for obvious reasons
- unhygienic plates that come along the train with lids that look like they haven't been washed before they're sent out
- soup base that literally tastes like they dropped some stock cubes in and called it a day
- the seats don't even let you properly sit in them without getting your legs jammed under the table

The food was so underwhelming I took 3 plates and couldn't even finish the third and wanted to just leave the most uncomfortable dining experience of my life.

There is a more senior lady staff working there, also as a cashier. Her attitude was absolutely disgusting! We asked if we could sit a bit inside due to the cold strong wind near the door, she said inside was still as cold. And was very unhappy. Then I said inside should be warmer than near the door, then she argued there was a back door and wind could come in from the back door. What logic was that? The back door was far in the end behind a wall separating the kitchen and the dining area。 If you are the boss, I think you should kick her away, otherwise she will kick away all your customers. I heard her English sounded like Malaysian English accent.

I believe the owners might be too tired to run the errands.

Hopefully there would be more improvement on
1. Customer service, hire someone who can speak better English.
2. Uniform, T shirt with logo is more than enough for dine in.
3. Drink choice, do something to provide unlimited refills or charge extra for unlimited refill. One can per person seem like everyone is begging for drink.
4. Soup flavour: make sure the chef understands what’s tom Yam is about.
5. Dessert choice: hire someone to maintain the and refill all the dessert display
6. Hygiene should be a mandatory practice as we got stomach ache after consuming the foods.

Absolutely love coming here. Delicious food and I love creating my own meal without moving from my seat! All the different soups and ugh just yum

This was a disappointing excuse for a hot pot. The broth lacked flavor and I could not tell the difference between my spicy broth and my partner's regular vegetable broth.

The dipping sauce station did not correctly label the sauces. No recommendations or guidance provided by the staff as to which sauces should be mixed with others, as is common practice in ALL other hot pot restaurants.

The lack of hygiene and cleanliness was most concerning. The meat and produce on the conveyor belt obviously had not been refrigerated for a while as it was defrosted and discoloured. Other produce was frozen to the core. It lacked consistency. It is astonishing that a restaurant like this passes the Council regulations as to food and health safety protocol.

The hotpot buffet restaurant is disappointingly overpriced for the limited food choices it offers. At approximately $28 per person, they fail to provide any hot dishes, which are readily available at other hotpot buffet restaurants in Melbourne. The soup base is nothing more than a basic stock cube with boiling water, resulting in a lack of flavor. The selection of ingredients is sparse, consisting mainly of sliced frozen meat, cheap meatballs, and a limited variety of vegetables. Unfortunately, the sliced meat appears less than fresh, displaying a brownish color, and the vegetables seem poorly picked, making them difficult to chew.

The sauce station is chaotic and poorly organised, with missing labels, leaving customers clueless about the sauces available. Moreover, the self-serve station is messy, with spills of soup and sauce all over the place. The waitstaff appear to be overburdened and disinterested in providing attentive service, which is evident from their tired demeanor. To make matters worse, they seemingly conceal information about a free drink offer for cash payments, forcing customers to discover it themselves.

Hygiene is also a concern at this restaurant, as the tables are greasy, and broken and worn-out plates are in use. Overall, this hotpot buffet restaurant does not meet the standards expected for its price range, and there are better options available in Melbourne for a more satisfying and enjoyable dining experience.

Buffet/train style hot pot, enjoy the atmosphere and the food. Have left very satisfied each time I've been there. Will definitely come back!

Super affordable with something for everyone. The satay soup base is delicious, and love how much variety there is!

Cheap all-you-can-eat hot pot, with lots of choices for the soup base. Give you a small serving of mussels and prawns at the begging. Food Trail carries a small serving of ingredients on each plate. Suitable for people who like to try a bit of everything. They even give you a free can of drink if you pay cash. But you can pay by card as well. Nothing to complain about!

Quality hot-pot for a decent price in the south-east. If attending as a group, try to get the tables as the long tables make it hard to socialise with friends.

Love this place, floors need more attention they are always very slippery and oily, some nights it’s hard to find a spot

Had an interesting time here. I loved the idea of a rotary hotpot. I appreciated the starter of seafood, but was saddened to see many people not eating them. Huge prawns and mussels wasted. Otherwise portions were good.
The seating was a little uncomfortable, which may be the system to stop people from eating too much.

Good deal hotpot with decent variety. They offer free cans of drink if you pay in cash. Best for going alone or with one other person since you get an individual pot and choose any ingredient you like from the conveyor belt at your own pace.

I went during lunch time and it was not as busy. It felt very cosy and relaxing.

The staff were very friendly and attentive. They checked our pot temperatures, asked if we needed a broth refill, and consistently took our empty plates away.

They have a condiments table along with desserts which were very nice. I enjoyed the green desert which had coconut (not sure what it’s called in other languages) and also the soft serve machine.

Although only decent in their options, the price is good and worth the value. Would love to come here again!

We went to lunch at the Street Hot Pot Buffet, 1 Balmoral Avenue, Springvale today.

The price of $25 / head was excellent and the variety of food items on their Food Express Conveyor was huge.

You would be hard pressed to eat one of each type of food as there is such a massive range available.

Their food includes a wide range of vegetarian options as well as meat and fish too.

There is a wide variety of dipping sauces, etc AND even Dessert available as well (yummy ice-cream!).

The staff were extremely helpful and responded promptly to our requests when made.

We thoroughly enjoyed our hot pot buffet today and are happy to give them a very solid FIVE STARS APPROVAL.

Great value for money, my partner and i went for lunch and it was $25 per person which was extraordinary considering the range.the staff were incredibly friendly and sat us immediately, taking our choice of soup base and coming back with our pot and a plate of mussels and prawns each.we were able to start selecting our ingredients and cooking right away.there were many things to choose from including beef, chicken and imitation crab, a variety of vegetables like emoji mushrooms and spinach.on top of this they had a great sauce selection and prawn crackers as well as fresh cut fruit, pandan jelly and a softserve machine all included in the price!

next time we will remember to pay in cash as well as you get a free can of soft drink to enjoy with your meal!

all in all a 10/10 experience and i can’t wait to come back:)

This little place is a gem and reasonably priced with a huge selection of food to add to your hotpot. I was simply in awe at the never-ending train carrying all sorts of noodles, meat, seafood, dumplings, tofu & vegetables. You have the ability to adjust the temperature of your pot via a control below the bench. If you're in the area, I would highly recommend you check it out!
