Stoney’s Club reviews
63Our go-to in Bacchus Marsh. Kids love the playground, Dad (me) loves the members drink specials and the food is also great. Can be an expensive day/night but understandable in these times of higher food costs and utility prices.
Poor bar service. Bar staff prioritise regulars over those who are next in line. I had a staff member prioritise 3 regulars before me, even though I was next inline. All I got told was hold on.
The regulars weren't impressed about themselves jumping the que in passing coversation.
It appears the common bar courtesy of serve next inline does not apply to me here.
Nothing special. Food was ok nothing special, but not good enough to pay a 15% surcharge for a public holiday.
Nice and clean. Service again was good nothing outstanding.
Kids area a bit disappointing but ok for the area
Stoney's meals are rather tasty but they have changed their menu now. I have a favourite seniors meal but l couldn't get a Snitzel & Vegetables last night it was very disappointing. Nothing is wrong with a changed menu but you should be able to have a Snitzel & vegetables and in a seniors meal. I do eat here regularly but l am not sure now. I had to order a large meal which cost me a lot more yet l couldn't eat it all l think that's a waste. Choice is important l personally prefer mash & vegetables to chips & salad, shame l couldn't have it.
Stoney's is a great little local in Bacchus Marsh. The service and staff are very inviting and well mannered. The food was delivered fast and good sized portions (even kids meals).
Stoney's offers a bar/ bistro, gaming, and a playground for kids.
Quality of food is decent and worth the price.
If I was to list a con, I believe I was served a wrong beer or the wrong keg was tapped.
Other than that, stoney's is worth the review.
A nice pub. Clean. Not crowded or noisy. Staff friendly and helpful. Lambs Fry overcooked. Think I will hand to them my recipe. Huge parma. Only one choice of Parma and schnitzel. Basic pub food.
We were a weekly regular and loved the menu. It was simple but all the options (besides the burger) were great! For a pub they even served a curry which is rare to see in a pub. My partner always raved on about how good the steak was, also the veggies they served which meals were so good! But in the last 2 weeks we noticed a big changed. The steak prices rose by 40% they completely changed the menu over. They took veggies off the menu and said they only serve it with the roast now. And they serve meals with coleslaw…… going into winter soon this was a terrible move.
We spoke to management and they told us menus were changed from higher up. Obviously the owners have no clue. But as a regular in Bacchus marsh and with minimal pubs to go too we are now having to look outside of the area. Ballarat here we come.
Such a shame.
Bring back the original menu and you’ll bring back your regulars.

Food was ok, was in a large group so they struggled to get food out quick.
Good place to catch up with people
Lovely meal friendly staff. Going to go there a bit more often rather than get takeaway better value.
Super disappointed in our takeaway meals all the chips were cold and I asked for no ham on the Parma and it came with ham, it was also very dry and no sauce, won’t order again!
Food was delicious. The Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food was fantastic. We recommend that this is an awesome place for anyone to enjoy food with friend's and family
Delicious food but extremely rude staff.
We were a party of 6 at 4.00pm and wanted to sit near the play ground to watch our 4 year old and 21 month grandson.
We were told that the tables have been set for the evening.
We could only sit at table 12 which was not set.
We ordered 6 starters and side meals and 6 drinks.
When the food came out we were not given knives or forks or napkins.
The staff Maddy and Sue frowned at us the entire time.
They constantly spoke rudely to our grandchildren.
DID I MENTION IT WAS 4 O’clock AND WE WERE THE ONLY PEOPLE IN THERE.
At 5.30 we were told we had to leave because the table was booked for 6.00.
Disgusting service
Rude service
Horrible attitude

An alright place to take your family out as it is a large venue. However the food is overpriced and bland, with little flavour at all. I would not go here for the food.
Greeted by friendly staff who made an effort to accommodate us even without a booking.
We didn't get them at their best as the stove had broken down on the night of our visit which meant that many of the meal options were not available. I imagine that if this hadn't been the case the food prep times would have been quicker and more options.
That being said, the team did well with what they had available and the schnitzel was good as we're the wedges.
Would have liked to see something other than football, keno, dog and harness races on the tv in the bistro area but it meant that there were less distractions to the family conversation.
Amazing staff great food and atmosphere really enjoyed lunch there definitely will return only down was there was no port
The food was good and a reasonable price big bistro. The waitress was attentive although she did forget our drinks but, another one soon remedied that. A nice place to eat then kick back and chat over a drink or two.
Haven't been here for near 15 years, when it became very low end. Possibly worst in town. NOW it's back! Good service, excellent choice variety on menu, seniors options (now I'm old enough), the lambs fry and bacon was excellent, the table had variety of meals from child's through to seniors.all great, we'll be back
My husband and I come here every week at least 2 times a week, the food is amazing and the staff even better, we have been served by Brianna may times and she knows our order without us even saying anything, what a fantastic place with amazing staff can't fault anything.
Great pub, outdoor area is great.
Fantastic service from the TAB staff
I will come back!
Chicken wings are amazing!
Dog and kid friendly. Pleasant, helpful staff and nice food. Standard menu but nice. We enjoyed out lunch here and will be back.
