Excellent! Lovely service and kind staff. A quicker turn around than I was expecting and a cheaper price than I was expecting and all for a perfect alteration to my dress. Couldn’t have asked for better. Really impressed with my first experience here and I’ll definitely be coming back for any other alterations I need.

Jenny and the team at Stitch House are incredible, I'd recommend them to anyone and everyone! I've used them for alternations over the years and recently had my wedding dress altered by them and it looks INCREDIBLE with the alterations.
Jenny and her team give the best, most thorough service and they're always upfront about what they can do and will work with you to get what you need by the date you need it. I can't sing their praises enough! Jenny and her team are always so friendly when you walk in the door. They are also very talented, they work to ensure the desired outcome is reached. I am a returning customer, and will always take my clothes to Jenny.

Jenny and all of the staff at Stitch House are amazing. Such a personal experience, I've had them amend so many items for me, sometimes I bring a sample item and they are able to replicate it for me, as well as working on some one off bespoke garments. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Had my wedding suit altered here. Collected and paid for the garments only to find my pants had not been hemmed, with the pins still in them when I got them home. Contacted the store and left a voice message but was not even called back. Used another tailor who fixed my pants that day. Use at your own risk.

They made a magnificent job with clothes. Only if you are not in a rush. They are quite busy all week long…

Blatantly did not follow the instructions we discussed on altering a vintage clothing item. This effectively destroyed the item of clothing.

The fitting was easy, very quick and professional.

Only point for improvement, is that communication was lacking, I didn't get a call or notification, even a few days after the completion date I was given. I had to call myself a couple of times to get an update and confirmation, had me worried a week out from my wedding!
But all came good

I needed a velvet dress taken in for a wedding this month, and was a bit worried about it getting ruined, as I've heard velvet can be tricky to work with. After reading their reviews, I decided to take it Stitch House, and they did such a wonderful job. They're so great at their craft that you can't even tell it's been taken in.

When I picked it up I was in a bit of a rush, and didn't notice it wasn't quite fitted around the waist. Unfortunately I realised this on Friday night, and the wedding was on Sunday afternoon. I was getting a little stressed that I'd have nothing to wear, so I took the dress back in to see if there was anything they could do. They took the time to repin it, ensuring I was happy with the shape, and told me they would make sure it was ready for me by the next day. The person who helped me even offered to work into their evening/day off, which was incredibly kind.

I dropped the dress off around 10am, and they had it ready for me by the end of the working day. They even added some extra boning on the top of the bodice, as it was missing some. The dress is perfect, and it's something I'll keep in my wardrobe for a very long time.

I was a bit nervous taking it back in as I'm a bit out of my depth with alterations, and wasn't sure what was possible. Everyone at stitch house was so friendly and understanding, and did absolutely everything to make sure I felt my best in this dress. They got it done at such short notice, and did the additional alterations completely free of charge.

I'd highly recommend this shop if you're needing any alterations done. It was such a positive experience, with such kind and skilled people. I'll definitely be back.
