Stella's Kitchen reviews
53Beautiful place to either celebrate a special ocassion or after a walk at lysterfield. Food was amazing and you can tell they have good quality chefs. I had the gnochhi - would highly recommend. Staff were friendly and service quick, they squeezed us in as walk ins on a busy Saturday.
Been here twice. First time on the weekend it opened. Very simple menu. Waiting 25 mins for coffee and to order food but ended up leaving. Thought we would try it again this morning. Menu has expanded a bit. Food was nice but nothing special and expensive for what it was in comparison to primary or butlers kitchen. Ordered a tea with honey. Honey came mixed with vinegar? Sent it back to be replaced. Next one they spilt all over the table as the teapot was overfill. Also as I was just in the process of putting my cutlery down and still had my mouth full when they cleared my plate in a hurry. Not exactly a great experience. Way over priced.
Fantastic, friendly and prompt service. Beautifully decorated and lovely ambience/views. Good range on the menu and food was really delicious. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning.
Thank you!
We have dined at Stella’s Kitchen on 3 occasions and have just made a reservation for our anniversary lunch. The restaurant is in a great setting And we love the view over the orchard and little lake. The huge floor to ceiling windows give it a lovely airy, open feel to dining. We also enjoy dining in the outdoor area, perfect for a relaxing long lunch. We have ordered the Stella’s Kitchen Burger which was delicious and we loved the house fries! A lighter, but equally tasty meal is the Summer Salad, which I ordered with chicken. The ingredients all married together perfectly with the delightful pomegranate and sherry vinaigrette. On my third visit I had the House Made Gnocchi -best gnocchi have eaten! It just left room for the Stella’s Crumble which is simply to die for, I could have easily have consumed another serving of the sublime prailine creme anglaise! The hostess and wait staff are friendly and attentive and keen to assist to make our dining experience a pleasurable one. Can’t wait to visit this weekend
Stella's Kitchen was the best place to celebrate my 60th birthday. The food was amazing, top class service and beautiful views. Highly recommended.
Lovely ambience in the restaurant. Very friendly staff, good range of choice on the menu. The soup of the day was divine! Only disappointment was the apple crumble was not available, will definitely have to return to try it out!
We had lunch there today with 28 other people. The food was delicious but slow in coming out. The staff seemed a bit overwhelmed. One of our group ordered two drinks neither of which appeared and luckily was not asked to pay for them. The table we were on had two tables on vastly different area’s which caused my glass of champagne to fall and shatter. I was assured that I would receive a complimentary glass in place of the one lost but was billed for at the end of our lunch. We didn’t realise that until we got home. So we are not happy about that. It was a very noisy place but had excellent views. To mind it was a bit expensive also. Hopefully it will improve.
My mother and friends went to Stellas yesterday- 13/5/21, had a great time. Beautiful setting and great food. They were all impressed by the friendliness of the staff and their attention to detail. Assisting the elderly with patients and empathy. Great work Stella’s
This is an Apple land. Love this place. I have lived closeby but didn't realise this place is near us. Love the smell of apples and the photos of apples and there are so many different products from Apple. I think it is good for the kids as well. Tasting area would be awesome for customers.
4.5 stars for the view and venue
3.5 stars for the food and service for dining in
3 stars for the food and service for take away
Lovely staff, but please provide them training, even for your barista (yes, beautiful latte art, but coffee was cold)
Place is nice but so disorganised. We'll perhaps try it again in spring. Good luck
Delightful. Attentive, engaging, knowledgeable wait staff; excellent fresh expertly prepared food, nice wine selection, lovely scenery, nice vibe.
Make sure to book! They are popular and getting in can be tricky (which is a great sign). Great food, excellent service, good prices, nice view of the grounds.
Lovely open restaurant with a great view. Two out of the three meals were lovely, salmon and lamb, however the beef brisket was dry and over cooked. The meals were very slow coming out and a few wait staff were not sure of their orders, very inexperienced. Great menu, good wine list, will definitely return.
A really lovely experience for Mothers Day - scenic view, relaxing subtle music, upbeat staff and tasty food. Our hot drinks and desserts didn't come together but they apologised when they understood we wanted them together and took the drinks off our bill. Very clearly trying to make the customers have a nice experience.
Try the beef brisket - so good!
Excellent Service, Delicious food, Beautiful presentation, Amazing Scenery, We just Love Stella’s Kitchen. Highly recommend you pay them a visit!
We stumbled upon Stella’s Kitchen after my wife and I had been out waking in Lysterfield Park: We loved it! Bright, modern interior with gorgeous floor-to-ceiling views of the park, lovely warm and welcoming staff, terrific tea and coffee, tasty breakfast choices. This is going to be a new favourite and looking forward to seeing Stella’s Kitchen grow and thrive.
Mediocre at best. The service was fairly good, but the food left a lot to be desired. The burger would have been good if the meat was of a better quality & not so compressed. The summer salad with chicken (an extra $6), was also disappointing - there was about 5 slices of chicken (maybe half a chicken breast) & it was over dressed. The meals overall were pretty poor value for money. The view was nice, but I wouldn’t come back here.
Has a posh vibe red head female not very personable or helpfull just kind of there.
30 bucks for 2 toasties 1 caramel slice and 2 cappuccinos, both caps burnt toasty was a toasty
Should of stopped in at McDonald's instead
Had a beautiful 40th birthday lunch here. The food took a while to arrive but was worth the wait and treated to dip platters while we waited. Beautiful views. Kind and attentive staff.
