Stella Pizza Altona

24/4 hungry for some heat we phone ordered a large Mexican Pizza to go. On time and as ordered we both agreed this pizza was far superior to other local products. Perfect base generously topped with fresh ingredients (including chillies) and well cooked. Very tasty and will be back.

I had one of the best pizzas i ever had for a very long long time. I will be going back there very soon.

Very delicious food at reasonable price and the best service provided by staff member Lana. Definitely going back.

Great location, excellence menu choice, staff were friendly.
My friends enjoyed their pizza and pasta respectively.
I went for the chicken schnitzel. I found the chips crunchy (I prefer non crunchy) and the schnitzel was like one you would get from charcoal chicken.
The salad portion was dry.

Good flavour, toppings are sparse.barely anything on this one. Base seems thin crust. Not good enough.

Had a delicious vegetarian gnocchi pasta, garlic bread and bruschetta. Nice selection of "Daniel's donuts" for desert too. As well as receiving lovely service throughout!

Probably one of the best local pizza restaurants in all of Melbourne, found in our beachside suburb of Altona.

Wow.really busy had to wait awhile for service, the staff were run off there feet but still managed to smile and be polite. I had pizza and the base was very nice you could tell it was made fresh. I thoroughly enjoyed my pizza

Had pizza delivered the other night. Just a margarita. Opted for a thin base. Was not a fan of this pizza. Lack of taste. Soggy base. I remember the pizzas being much better than this a few years ago. Would think twice before ordering from Stellas. Wedges were quite flavorsome though.

This place never disappoints.
The service is amazing and so friendly. And the food is always great with decent portions and great value for money.
The kids love going here as they are made to feel extremely welcome. This place always delivers a great dinning experience.

So it was a Interesting experience, it was all good until our waitress said that the milkshake machine was broken, we saw other milkshakes come out within 10 minutes later, we asked if it was working and was rudely told that they are too busy to serve us.

We have eaten here many times but last night has lost my business forever.
I requested gluten free pasta (listed on the menu) waitress comes back to say the chef has none ready and I can wait 20 minutes for him to cook it or order something else, so I say I will wait. She returns to the table saying now that there is no gluten free pasta and I can order a gluten free pizza base instead. I can not eat dairy so pizza without cheese is of no interest to me. No vegan cheese is offered here as a substitute.
A salad is offered instead with prawns. Not the meal I had been hoping for.
Anyone with food sensitivity/allergy will look at a menu prior to arrival to make sure they can eat there and save being embarrassed infront of everyone at the table. I planned my meal and was embarrassed repeatedly because of my inability to eat gluten and dairy. To top it off the meal that I was served came out with a ridiculous amount of garlic on it that made the meal inedible (about 1/4 cup estimate crushed garlic for 1 serve of prawns) and having to ask for the meal to be remade.
The waitress was apologetic and I am grateful for this, she took my drinks off the bill but it doesn't take away from the very poor experience I had and the humiliation I felt in front of my peers.
If you have food allergies/intolerances, please call beforehand so you don't waste your time as I did. Very disappointed.

Extremely deluded. I ate a lovely pizza here last year in September and i came back today because I remembered it. They might have changed something because was actually comparable to a Dominos one.
Not even close to an Italian pizza (also on the box there is the Italian flag with a French writing, not much sense).

How does it take 1 hour for a cheese only pizza to be cooked? Others were getting their food before I would get mine. Clearly, my order was forgotten. Pick up your game!

First time here after all the talk from friends, well let me say i was not really impressed with the food.seafood platter was average, risotto was average and pizza was average. Will I be back? Well I give all places a second chance to redeem themselves so yeah maybe. Staff a a bit all over the place and when you need them there not around. Initially not very welcoming but the lady who served us was nice.

Went to Stella’s tonight in Altona. Had the salmon which was out of this world. Best salmon I’ve had in a long time. 11 out of 10.

Right by the beach, it’s always a good time at Stella Pizza Cafè! Perfect for any type of visit whether it’s to catch up with friends, date night or a family dinner! They have amazing food for a great price! Always great customer service! Food NEVER let’s down! Pizza is literally amazing & the chips would be my top rated fries!

Service staff were rude and more interested in chatting amongst themselves. And on a Friday night at 6pm. Definitely will advise my family & friends to give this place a miss!

Went to Stella's last night with a friend and as usual it was a great evening with wonderful food.
This is much more than a Pizzeria.
The menu is quite comprehensive with everything from pizza, steak, chicken Parma, warm chicken salad and much more.
It's also licensed and BYO.
I had a small pepperoni which was delicious and friend had the most popular Stella Special which he says is always his favourite and never disappoints.
Very attentive staff and the food as usual is fantastic.
I must say that as we were about to leave we were treated to a real surprise.
