Stella Pizza Altona reviews
66 Best pizza in Altona!
Dog friendly and great staff.
Outdoor area and comfortable indoor eating
Amazing pizza. One of the best in the local area. Place is pretty busy which speaks to the quality
My family is italian and were very judgy on most italian resturants.but i can say that this place is 100% amazing.ive gone here since i was a little kid and my dad loves it so much he goes there for lunch alot and now has his own nickname.you all should definently try it!:)
Great Food, Great value and Great friendly staff. 5 stars, you can’t go wrong with this restaurant.
Cost me $35 to have 2 SAMLL pizzas delivered down the road- it cost me $15 for deliver because the lady didn’t tell me about a minimum spend. Quite sure she told me it was $26 all up on the phone. Used to love this place but il never order again from them, definitely reccomend people use Uber eats rather then their delivery. The pizzas were cold aswell!
I would give a zero star review if I could because I didn't actually receive any food. I ordered online and got a confirmation by SMS. I called after an hour and was asked to confirm my name and order. After doing this I was told that the pizzas would arrive in the next 10-15 minutes. I called again after another half an hour and the manager told me that they had an issue with the online ordering and the kitchen had not received my order. There was no explanation as to why I was previously told the food was on it's way. As it was already almost 2 hours since I ordered so I told them to cancel the order as my kids would probably in bed by the time it arrived. I used to enjoy ordering food from here but will never use them again as they can't be trusted.
Always a long wait for a tasteless pizza. Their 20 mins is realistically 1 hour. Don't both with delivery. It won't show up unless you call them 3 times.
They lost me
Best Italian I have had in Melbourne. The gnocchi was simple but full of flavour and the woodfired pizza was sublime. And the seafood schnitzel was the best I have had. 10/10
I ate here yesterday with my two nephews, very disappointed, one nephew had carbonara and the other ordered gluten free pasta dish with salmon, which turned out to be rice, which is not what he ordered, we also failed to see where the salmon was in it,? I think the salmon was waived over the top of container, also we asked for table water and what we got was 3 small coffee cups with lukewarm water in it, the food all came in plastic containers, I think someone needs to tell them that cafes and restaurants are allowed to have people sit inside now we are out of lock dow
Thank you to the lovely waitress with the tatoos that is gentle and kind, and a beautiful
smile, from the guy who fav pizza is capriccoisa, she deserves a riase,
One of my favourite places in Altona to have a casual lunch with clients and friends and family.
Been there several times and everyone always comments on how nice the food is and how much they enjoy going there.
I have eaten at Stella Pizza for many years and have enjoyed their food. But on the last few orders the quality has dropped noticeably. Last night our pizzas were sub average. My marinara had a thin covering, few prawns, no calamari and no parsley. My wife’s schnitzel was dry and poor salad. My daughter for the first time complained about her margherita as it lacked coverage. Not good value!
Dined-in on a lazy Sunday! Splendid pizza with rich flavors, great sauce and a lovely outdoor seating area.
Lovely food but service is very patchy. Best to avoid when it's busy as orders take ages to be fulfilled and delivery to your table can go awry.
I ordered a meatlovers pizza and on said pizza got ham, onion, and barbecue sauce so I only have 1 type of meat on my pizza. Sorry it's 2 types of ham
A solid feed with great tasting wood fire pizzas. Can recommend Woodfire #9 pizza for any vegetarians.
Great location and really friendly staff. Service was superb.
Most delicious pizzas in Melbourne. Used to be there every fortnight when we used to live near the place. And amazing location and ambience. A must recommend
The staffs are very friendly especially the lady who has taken our orders. She even offered the kids with coloring booklets, thus making the kids more comfortable within the restaurants. Food is really good and there wasnt any delay on the servings. Will definitely going back
Takeaway review only: Ordered the 'stella special' pizza. This is the best pan pizza I have had in the area (this pizza is not the traditional Italian style if that's what your after)
Lots of fresh tasty toppings, good base and sauce ratio. Highly recommend.
Maybe because I went there for the first time the eve of lockdown but my experience there was nothing special but memorable to the point that I felt I had to write this review where I never do. The place is unpretentious, the staff are very friendly, the food is simple but delicious. The hot chocolate was the best I have ever had and I had a few. Highly recommend if you want a simple meal. It's become my staple place and I don't have any of those. I wish I took the name of the lady behind the bench but in all fairness all the waiting staff were lovely. Will be back again and again.
