Starfish Swim School

Really good swim school for pre schoolers and primary school kids. Its Our 3rd term here and kids have really improved. Always friendly staff with big smiles and not as hectic as the big centres.
Kids say the water is nice and warm which helps with the battle to get them to swimming. Already recommend to others.

We have been with starfish for almost 3years. With 2 kids currently in classes and the third one going next year. Staff are amazing and very friendly. At the start of the year one of my children wouldn’t leave the side of the pool and now he is a lot more confident and is improving every week. Teachers have been really patient and accommodating. Kids have loved all their teachers. Facilities are very clean and the pool doesn’t have that strong chlorine smell. Thanks for teaching the kids how to swim & the jellybeans!

Amazing! We have been at starfish swim school for 6yrs with all our kids.have started in babies and currently now in pre squad. The confidence and progression of our kids in the water has been amazing to watch. Teachers are very experienced, very patient and a lot of fun. Progression is based on capability not age, it’s a lovely private pool only for lessons (not within a big complex), which is very warm and inviting. Best investment you could make for your kids, skills for life!

Have to thank starfish for a wonderful holiday intensive for my 2 kids. Kids absolutely loved it. Not only did they progress immensely, they enjoyed coming back each day. The consistency with their instructor and the quality of tuition is the best I’ve witnessed. Been to a few centres and very happy we are now at starfish. Highly recommend.

This is our second year at Starfish Swim School. Putting my children at the hands of BJ’s skilled, brilliant and extremely patient teachers have meant the world to our family.

We have had an absolutely amazing experience with the team at Starfish Swim School. Our two children have been attending the school for five years now and their swimming skills have really advanced because of the excellent coaching and guidance provided by the team. All the staff are really attentive and caring and they have excellent facilities as well. Thanks team for all of your support and dedication.

Both of my kids have been going to this school for 4 years, I have no complaints about the classes, they were great. This year my 3 year old daughter was sick with a very bad and chesty cough for the whole of winter, so she wasn't able to attend the whole term. I marked her absent every week in advance so other people could take her place and do a make up class. When I realised she was not going to be able to attend for the whole term, as her cough was not going away, I called Starfish Swim School to seek some support. I know we signed a contract and the spot was saved for her, but they were very cold and rude and did not offer any support. I was not expecting a full refund at all, but a partial credit for next term or any type of support would've been nice after being there for so many years with two kids. Their response was a straight NO, there is nothing we can do, you signed the contract. You would expect a more supportive customer service from a place where you've been for many years. Such a shame and very disappointing.

I cannot recommend Starfish Swim School highely enough. The staff led by owner BJ are fantastic and great to deal with. They have great small class numbers, and my daughters teacher is great and is always so helpful. The facilities are very modern and have a great viewing area for parents to watch.

I called the Starfish swim school mid term to find a spot. Within a day we were enrolled with ease. The classes and programs are always really fun and safe.
The instructors are qualified and engaging in each session which leads to solid progression and the improved confidence on a weekly basis.

After a lot of staff changes with obviously overworked staff at another local large swim school my child was not happy. The switch to starfish was a welcome change with a very happy and enthusiastic little swimmer emerged. She started to love swimming, wanting to swim and learn every day. Her teacher was fantastic with her. She became very confident and independent in the pool at an impressively rapid pace.

Starfish Swim School is a fantastic facility, my two boys have been having lessons here for the past two years & have enjoyed every minute of it. The staff and teachers are friendly, class sizes are small & the facilities are clean.

Have been coming to Starfish for 7 years and our kids have loved it! The staff are great and always welcome us with a smile! Keep up the great work guys!

Modern pool, great facilities. Friendly staff, you definitely feel like you're part of a community going there. Good flexible software for making up sessions you can't get to. Well run.

I have been taking my daughter since she was 7months old and she has just turned 7! The facilities, teachers and staff are all exceptional! May I share with all and sundry how happy I am with this Swim School's management, programme and staff. They did above and beyond their best for their Customers during COVID shutdowns. I am also very glad that they survived the concomitant financial difficulties that all businesses must have faced. In particular, I want to single out the Swim Instructor Jason for his delicate, sensitive and caring instructing of very young children. I have seen these little darlings (my little Tina included) sometimes cry for their parents, throw tantrums, refuse to be instructed, run off, throw toys, yelling for toilet breaks, do the opposite of what they're asked to do and a host of other fits and outbursts. Not once did Jason lose his patience, raise his voice or displayed the slightest annoyance. Consistently shows professional maturity, competence and experience well beyond his years. Thank you!

Just started taking my 1yr old to infant classes. Such a wonderful experience. My child loved every minute. The instructor was lovely, kind and knew her stuff. Every child was smiling and so excited to dive in. We’ll done Starfish team
