St Vincent Gardens reviews
41Beautiful, well maintained and easily accessible gardens. Great for a picnic when the weather is good.
Beautiful gardens. Week worth a visit. The surrounding architecture is well worth enjoying.
Lovely gardens, with old school tennis court split into to parts, beautiful flower beds on the other side, amazing to relax in
Plenty of space, two playgrounds for kids, in a calm setting. A little bit of Europe near the city.
I went there to film a documentary with other extras of course
The Roses were still in full bloom
No photos to share as it was very private until it gets released
Gardens are nice but it is a home for homless people who have taken over the shelters and toilets
A simple but fun playground for kids; has a couple of swings plus some climbing bars and a tube to slide down.
Very well cared for gardens in an English style with lots of shady trees, manicured garden beds & kiddies playground.
A quiet and tranquil location in the heart of Albert Park. Lovely to just sit under a tree and do nothing. Tennis court, lawn bowls and a good children's playground make up other attractions. There's also a succulents garden that has just been established.
I would recommend this park.very beautiful and well managed. I often visit here with my client.
Not even crowdy though
Beautiful gardens, surrounded by astonishing Victorian architecture. Great spot for catching up with friends or just going our for a stroll.
Beautiful English style public gardens. Great playground, wide paths, and traditional landscaping.
My wife and I enjoy walking and having a picnic at the park with something purchased from the South Melbourne Market. Very pleasant experience.
Could be the nicest park in Melbourne. We had a great family picnic there. The kids could run around, play on the playground, sports and it felt very safe. Lots of mature trees provide shade. And gorgeous houses surround the park.
Ideal location to sit under one of the many trees and have a picnic with family and friends, or some alone time to read a book. Even though a tram passes through nearby quite regularly, the park is quiet and peaceful. A perfect hidden little gem!
Lot's of shade, huge trees. Restrooms are shabby.kids play area is ok ok.not found any water fountain so better carry your water.
Been going to St Vincents Gardens Since l was a child. It is a beautiful, calming place. The jewel in the crown of South Melbourne. Very well maintained garden beds and beautiful old trees. It is a beautiful place to be and relax. There are tennis courts and playground and also a lawn bowls club. The gardens straddles both sides of Montague Street.
I like that it has many spots for a picnic. It has a toilet, water fountain, natural shade from the trees, and a playground that is the right size so you can always see your kids. Even better, they have 2 lots of playgrounds next to each other, one for older kids, and another for younger kids - toddlers. Plus, plenty of parking!
A lovely historical local garden with tennis court and bowling greens. Surround by some amazing period homes. Well worth checking out.
