One of wonderful sight of Melbourne, priceless architecture heritage of William Wardell. Beyond a historical building, celebrating mass at the cathedral is definitely an experience from the beautiful accoustic sound from amazing choristers & organ.
Roman catholic church with gothic-european style. Near the parliamentary building. The place is spacious and beautiful. Worth visiting.

BEAUTIFUL CATHEDRAL OCCUPYING A LARGE SITE ON THE EDGE OF THE CITY CENTRE
The building is quite grand and built in the gothic style and was completed in 1939. The building was restored in the late 1990's - no changes, just restoration. It is one of the largest churches in Australia.

Beautiful Gothic Revival architecture in proximity to Melbourne city. Clean environment, lovely garden, and a serene cathedral.
Cool cathedral with amazing handiwork inside. It was weird because we had to pay a fee to get in, not sure what the 'church' wants here.
