St Andrews Beach Golf Course reviews
42I have been and seen many courses around the country and found this place up there with the best. The hospitality was next to none and the course was in excellent condition. Will be coming back for sure. Thanks team. Made our time memorable.
Stunning corse! Even with the weather giving us a beating, it couldn’t detract from the amazing design and condition of the corse! The staff here made me feel super welcome and were incredibly helpful. I will be returning here as soon as possible!
Would advise anyone with mobility issues should get a cart as it’s very hilly.
Fantastically maintained golf course that has quite a few bunkers that are hard to get out of due to the height!
This is a great course, but the facilities are well below par and nowhere near the course. A trek if you want something between the 9th and 10th.
The golfers I take there have loved the course. I've probably taken about 40 groups of golfers from around the world on golf tours.
There were many wild kangaroos on the course.
There is a guide cart, but you should choose an electric riding cart. Also, if you don't have a caddy, you will have trouble turning smoothly.
A beautiful and challenging course. The entire course is well maintained and a pleasure to play. The staff was helpful and courteous.
Fantastic Course, If You Are Mid To High Handicapper, it will certainly be a challenge. A mixture of short and long holes. Definitely take a Cart, unless you enjoy a long hilly walk. Plenty Of Kangaroos to keep you company too.
Great course, kept in great shape. Really rewards smart play without being too brutal if you take a slightly different line
Absolutely brilliant golf course. Fair, interesting, fun and challenging. Exactly what you want. No fancy clubhouse, which adds to the charm of the place.
Course in great nick, make sure you know which way the greens slope!
Great winter condition, greens are a little inconsistent, but still good for putting. If you haven't played here, do yourself a favour, many great views from the elevated tees, this course gives every level of player good landing spots, so if you can avoid trouble it gives you a chance to score well, has a good mix of forgiving and tough holes, unless it is windy then the difficulty increases greatly.
From the door step or store, it looks amazing. Friendly staff looked after the store with lots of warnings (no toilets out there other than bush and just water tab-no food and nothing) i bout jelly and a souvenir for myself. Coffee was great to start but not a great to start for the first timer at St Andrew Beach golf. It was not easy to read the course and obviously it was the first timer and there was no one to ask but a gardner. Amazingly huge course and be prepared to find lots of balls and lose lots of balls. It was good experience in a such a St Andrew beach golf course like. Got a promotion of 6 packs at St Andrew Brewery which I took my family and friends there to have a meal. Definitely I will come back with my friends but highly recommend hire cart- which it has astring and notice around the green. With a buggy, you can but it is challenge cause it has lots of up and downs. I made over 20,000 steps and it took about 4 hours to complete the course by myself. Fantastic experience at St Andrew thanks!
Great Golf course to test the average golfer. Course it excellent condition. Love playing here when I get the chance.
Great course/layout. It's a tough walk between holes especially if you're not fit. Recommend a cart for us older folks.
Awesome course. Note there is no warm up range or net, so warm up at a range before heading there!
Played Saturday 19th march, tee off 11.50 1st tee, 5 and a half hours
in a cart Playing as a 3. Never again
Fantastic golf course, challenging but not impossible for any handicap.wonderfully played out within the natural landscape.a must for all golfers
A Must golf course in Melbourne. Very challenging and entertaining at the same time. Green is very difficult to play need to measure it well before you putt.staff is amazing, don’t forget to buy some souvenir from the pro-shop.best recommendation get your game on weekday.not so busy so you can really enjoy the course. Thank St Andrew I enjoyed playing here
Pure golf. You will need a cart. Has sone blind shots and some tricky angles. No fancy clubhouse but has the basics. Challenging golf. Dont try to dominate this course. It will bite.
Beautiful day. Over 30 degrees but fine with plenty of wind. Found plenty of balls. Lost even more.
Use strong glue with your toupee or it will go farther than the ball with all that wind.
