Popped in to get info on a potential upgrade for my new van, left feeling happy with the knowledge I was given and the quality of service by the staff. Will be going back in a couple of months to update my stereo.

Had my speakers installed and had to come regularly since some of the speakers did not work from time to time due to incorrect fitting.very poor customer service on top of that. Waste of money and time

Prompt and efficient/effective service, very competitive prices. Well worth looking at this place alongside SupwrCheap and Autobarn, and comparing prices between all three.

SSV installed a new head unit, reversing camera and front and rear dashcams on my car. They did a fantastic job, making sure all the car functions controlled by the previous unit were still accessible. Also very competitive prices. I highly recommend them.)

Came in looking to upgrade the speakers in my son's car. The store is attractively set up with quite a few functional displays and working systems. They're were almost NO prices on any of the items for sale. The gentleman who served us was not particularly helpful, didn't even come out to see our car. He had no concrete suggestions and it was very difficult to find the cost of anything without prices on display. Compared to other places we've been their prices were about 20-30% more on items we're we could obtain prices. Since our visit we have spent over $1000 on Morel speakers, deadening and installs elsewhere, with the Sub and Amp still to go. There is no off street parking, and very limited parking on very busy Whitehorse Rd.

Great range and visually fantastic stores however The service just really doesn’t cut it seems like they are either a bit to cool or perhaps a resting on an old business model as the shop is always quite busy. In any case great products but not someone I would like to deal with in and after sales service inquiry.

Came here because I thought the 1 star reviews were few and far between. Nope, not for me. Customer service was really good, but at the end of the day I’m left with a headunit that kind of works, kind of doesn’t work and have been told. Oh that’s your car and it was an issue before we installed our stuff. Um, No everything was working perfectly fine before I visited you guys. Now it’s not. But sure the problem was ‘always’ there. If only you could give 0 stars.

I had a "backyard" guy botch up a head unit upgrade, took it here and these pros fixed it and it works like a charm! Absolute pros! Thankyou!

I had my brand new landcruiser 79 series taken to Sang and his team for head unit, dash and reverse cam, uhf radio, diving lights, speakers, door pods, centre console and clearview mirrors. They did a brilliant job, they were responsive, friendly and professional and of course gave the best price out of 3 companies I rang around. Thanks guys, I will be back for more work soon.

Had a viper alarm installed by them. I had a couple configuration issues and had to go back twice. Everything was not a problem. They got it all sorted and didnt ask me for more money. Good job guys.

They installed the Blackvue 2 channel dashcam on two of my brand new cars. Perfect Installation, no complaints.

Great service, whilst I did not end up purchasing anything there, one of the staff identified the issue with my steering wheel audio controller and did not charge anything. Very helpful and professional attitude, won't hesitate to bring my car for future audio installation.

My audio system was installed by them and after 2.5-3 years of usage, my reserve camera suddenly stopped working. Sang and his team fixed it within minutes - at no cost - Wow, I was pleasantly surprised! Luckily I brought my car back to them and if I were to proceed with other auto-electrician/ car security tech around my suburb, they may not want to muck around but instead installed a new reserve camera for $200-$300. Overall a good service, however one of the team members (can't remember the name) can sound cocky at times, e.g. "how long is a piece of string? " in a very haughty tone when you were genuinely inquiring about an approximate time frame to complete a job so that you could plan for your day.

If you need anything car sound related this is your one stop shop! They are so knowledgeable. The staff are verry friendly and approachable. They know there products inside and out! Good competitive pricing. Shop is immaculate and with a good desplay of products. They will get you sorted.

We chose this company because the reviews were mostly positive. Most of he Mitcham team were quite friendly to deal with, but we have not had a good experience overall.

We were advised to install a stereo made specifically for our vehicle, and we paid more for it because we were told it would fit perfectly. However, the stereo head unit vibrates on many road surfaces we use (Ringwood area). We took the car back, but SSV told us there was nothing they could do. If the unit is really vehicle specific, I can only assume the vibration is a result of how the unit was installed.

SSV also installed a rear camera for us. We were told that we would be able to see the entire rear bumper (width) of the vehicle. In fact, almost 20cm of the rear bumper is off screen. I am not sure if we were given inaccurate information, or if again it was the result of the installation.

Finally, the interior trim/panelling that was removed to install wiring was not put back correctly (visually, this is quite obvious), and the result is vibrations that were not there before the installation.

Again, SSV told us there was nothing they could do.

We had assumed that a new audio system, installed by professionals, would improve our listening experience. Unfortunately for us, it has had the opposite effect.

I cannot recommend this company.
