Springvale Shopping Centre reviews
44 Not a bad shopping centre. Restrooms (mens) could be a bit cleaner.
There are probably enough shops inside the shopping complex to make visit worthwhile.
My family used to live in Springvale from 2005 till 2007. All the shops holds good memories of how you used to walked hand in hand with your kids looking for children's cartoon dvds or buying mangoes from the veggie shop or tasting some sweet pastry from one of the bakeries or simply sitting at a tradition Asian restaurant for a bowl of Noodles. It has changed a bit but still special. Today I had a bowl of that wonton soup thanks to optus internet outage. Lots of wonderful memories. Busy shopping complex.
Lots varieties of shops to look around and affordable.
A nice shopping experience. U get a feeling that u r in Hanoi since there are a lot of Vietnamese sellers.
Springvale Shopping Centre is always chaotic. If you have to go shopping in Springvale, you have to come early to get a parking spot. It's a headache when it comes to parking. Everything you need is in Springvale, from meat, fish, all kinds of vegetables, groceries, restaurants and other things are in Springvale. Parking is the problem.
All your Vietnamese needs are met here. Need to try the Banh Mi shops next time. Fresh produce and meat everywhere.
I'm not often shopping in this area.felt like I'm shopping in asian countries.a lot of tropical fruits, clothes, groceries, items.ect
Great place for your grocery shopping and eateries BUT hourly charge on car park is very high. $2.50/hr now. Very unseasonable.
Meat market, fish market, vegetables, take away food, clothing, supermarket all in one small mall.
An Asian delight to shop in!
You name it, they have it.
From Fresh Vegies, fruits to Fresh meat plus ample parking only on weekdays.
On weekend, very busy place.
A great place to visit and experience diverse cultures. There are more than enough food and drink places to try out, mostly Asian but not all. Bubble tea, duck etc. And groceries, bric a brac, phone repair shops and clothing outlets and much more. There are plenty of seats around the area to rest. Parking is plenty. Free parking is available around Buckingham and Winsor avenue and $2 per hour parking right next to the central outlet.
The toilets in this shopping centre are in such a deplorable state it's outrageous. Locks are broken, hand dryers don't work and haven't for a long time and there isn't bag holders for ladies to put their handbags on! How hard is it to have those for people? Visually it is a mess already and the smell is strong and pungent. Not nice at all.
Terrible experience due to bad traffic jam in the multi level council carpark. The 6 levels council car park was poorly designed which causes terrible traffic jam during peak hour.

I do my grocery shopping every Wednesday ay 7pm in the afternoon to meet many people. Please say hello if you meet me, I'm a transracial man who identifies as a FGM-148 Javelin portable anti tank missile system.
The groceries here are good, but they miss the authentic true asian feel from my home town in Yulin China. Like I can get the ginseng and oolong tea from KFL, but I cannot find any of the true delicacies.
Overall it's a good place to come if you are feeling bored after work to hang out and buy decent food, and if you meet me don't be afraid to ask for directions!
Cheapest prices Vegetables, Fruits, Vietnamese bread rolls (perfect)
Friendly service staff
All the goods at Discount stores ($2 Shops) prices are gone up by 300% to 400%. Unbelievable. Kmart and BigW prices are lower and better quality than Springvale Discount stores.
There are a lot of rude people here. Some of them not even talking or serving to you if you are not one of them unfortunately. Wherever you go, they see you as a potential shop lifter.
Food and produce great but back to being crowded. Wish some people would not use outside as there rubbish tip. The restaurant in complex makes great soup and no wait like down the street
UPDATE: Watch out for local traders / employees (eg Butchers) using the toilets with their food handling gloves on. DISGUSTING!
TOILETS are disgraceful. Responsible parties ought to be ashamed!
Too busy and dirty and people are very rude when it come to parking. No respect for each other and no manners in the car park or while shopping. There are a mixture of educated and uneducated people so be mindful and patience is needed while shopping at springvale
